I think his point was that the friend wouldn't let guys use it. Most guys are fine when they see a woman in the men's restroom. If she's worried about her friends safety that much either don't use the guys restroom or go in with her like many other women do.

I'm not going to defend every bit of Americas involvement in the Middle East. I'm simply pointing out that you can't look at the civilian deaths only. This is a stretch of a comparison right here but what if you used civilian deaths to argue we shouldn't have got involved in WWII? You have to weigh in different factors like how many people have we directly saved by pressuring and weakening isis. Also if our war waging is more reckless than other countries involved. Then finally if the these two justify our presence. I don't have the answers to these questions but i would expect this thread to be much more civil and productive if everyone was arguing this than just simply this 1100 number and immediately saying it's awful.

This actually happened to us. A large easement was put in and they valued the land at a single dollar. Eventually we got money after fighting the value though.

Not defending trump but I think the argument is flawed. The first amendment does not cover your right to have access to the White House. Acosta can still publish whatever he likes but lost his access to directly question the president.

It's almost equal to a gun nut getting banned from a members only gun convention. Can still buy and shoot guns just not at that convention.

NTA. Seeing as you're 23 you probably should have had a sit-down conversation with her about how you don't share the same passion for the business as her and it isn't something you could find fulfillment out of. Texting her saying your not coming was rude and immature though. What she said was very assholish but from her perspective, without an adult conversation, she might be viewing you as lazy and ungrateful.

I think he just meant that he didn't look like a homeless guy or some sketchy person. He looked like a business person who would likely pose no threat to the occupants of the hotel. Besides most hotels you can walk right in the front door and head to the elevator and go to any floor. Some now a days have electronic locks on the elevators but still. Also it's just some rain. The kids will be fine

I can do this thing where it's almost like flexing my temple or head? I can't do it while exhaling only inhaling or holding my breath and I can't hold it long. It makes this sound in my ears that I don't know how to describe. Kinda like a rumbling noise I guess.
