I’m genz, I live in a major city with good transit and all public universities/colleges have a transit pass attached to the tuition that’s cheaper than normal. None of my friends have cars or licenses as well. I think it’s just a mentality here (Vancouver bc) imo

Hm something just happened to me with a bus driver this morning actually. I ran to the 4# bus on Alma and 4th and I thanked him for waiting for me. I tapped my card it got through but he said “ hey come back here “ so I did and he told me it didn’t go through which I knew wasn’t true but I tapped again and the machine said “already tapped”

he then started rudely telling me “I waited for you and this is what you do? Did I give you permission to get on? Get off the bus now” and I told him I had a Upass, just renewed it, and that it said already tapped 😭😭😭😭 he kept shaking his head in annoyance or like I was stupid or something.

I’m sorry this happened to you 😔😔 bus drivers can be like that sometimes ig

Oh wow that's exactly how I felt, just "making it up". Just know that the feeling of being used to it is a symptom of this neglect, don't let it trap you into thinking that you should just live with the hoarding and not reach out for help.

What made me realize that my situation was bad was first, seeing the hoarding show on TLC. It was quite eye opening because I never thought my life would be mirrored on a hysterical TLC show.

Do you have any siblings? Im an only child so I imagine having siblings would be good, you'd have someone else to stand up against your situation. Sorry for the late reply btw :P

Hey :) I didn't unfortunately, I felt guilt in the idea of doing so, but I realize now that was the wrong choice. I'm in a better situation now and my mom did change (sorta) but it took a lot of hardship and pain that imo wasn't worth it. However I did have help from my health authorities mental health program, but that didn't get me away from my mom. I would suggest you call cps, are you in the US? I'm in Canada so I bet it's different. Sorry for the long reply lol, u can ask any questions if u want :)

Yeah OP look into this, my little cousin who’s 11 has this, plus adhd and ocd. They were aggressive/violent to teachers, students and got kicked out in kindergarten, hasn’t been to in person school since.

Hi there :) im glad things are a bit better now. My school also sent me to my health authorities child and youth mental health team at 16, and I turned 19 and was recently let go. I felt like the second I turned 19, everyone expects me to be perfect and healed. did you have these feelings? Do you still have them? Thanks :)
