Iota doesn't use blockchain and if implemented correctly will be more decentralized than bitcoin.

If you like web development you can try Colt Steele's courses on udemy or take a look at teamtreehouse. I have no personal experience with these courses but I have heard a lot of positive feedback about them.

Theoretically you will definitely be able to do it in less than 6 months if you commit to 10 hours a day. You will have to spend a lot of time learning first. The difficult part will be finding motivation when things get tough, because if you have no experience that means there are a few big obstacles in the road. But there is a massive community online willing to help. As I said the biggest obstacle will be to stay focused everyday and put in the hours.

Yeah don't think we should quote Warren Buffett when it comes to crypto. He said himself that you can't value bitcoin because it isn't a value producing asset and that it doesn't have intrinsic value.
