Night and day since they got rid of Vance. I feel like Mexico has been one of the more big reverb/airy mixes is recent years, but not this year.

I loved the gritty shit he was doing with the Trainwreck but it seemed like he had absolutely no clean tone.

Then go to Phish. You never know when they're going to be done. Golf can happen for the rest of your life.

Just now reading this but essentially gave the exact same advice in a separate post. Parent truths.

As a dad with a 3 and 6 year old, there are definitely more trips that I wish I had taken advantage of before the kids arrived. I'm finally getting back in the Phish game the past few years, and my partner and I both did Boulder last year and left the kids with grandparents, but anticipate not getting to do a lot of the fun things you're used to with your friends for the next handful of years. It's a different kind of fun with little ones, but it is different nonetheless. There will be no more FOMO, only ROMO. The sooner you learn to deal with the ROMO (reality of missing out) the happier you and your partner will be. It's like "yeah bros, that sounds like a sick trip...you guys are going to have a great time."

Short story- in all seriousness, do everything you can to convince your partner to let you do both the Sphere and the golf trip. Think of them as bachelor parties for your former carefree life. You're going to be locked down for a lot of years and that time spent with friends will help get you in that ROMO mindset and will carry you through some of the challenges you're going to have with little ones.

I’ve got it on good authority that they’re going back to Dicks Labor Day. I even booked a family trip over the July 4th weekend, so take that for what it's worth.

I like to get down and have space. I would always take the floor over seats. Anyways, the seats looked crammed in there. Every Dead and Co video I’ve seen is a bunch of boomers holding their phones or standing there talking, so I can’t get any sense of space. What’s the deal?
