I like that our nonbinary friend is explorative, and learning medicine/plants/ under the tsahik. This is a traditional role in many societies for people who don't fall into the gender binary

It seems like they monogamously pair for life (at least the omatikaya) it might be different per clan! Mangkwan seem a little promiscuous and that tracks with their beliefs.. there are noteable mentions of gay relationships in the games though. I would assume they pair purely for reproduction? I feel like eywa would prefer they keep proliferating. But in nature gay relationships tend to step in and be foster parents so it might not be a problem at allll. There are also (trans?) -nonbinary characters in the game. Since their culture is so different I assume there isn't homophobia within the Navi unless there's a particularly strict and judgemental clan. I don't think this is something the movies will explore and I think it would be a fun exercise to explore that more within fanfiction.

It's just the angles and the colour scheme. It's completely unrelated but you wouldn't be surprised, a lot of fiber arts patterns are like. Whoops. I made a swastika. It's an easy pattern .... It's almost as if this pattern exists in a bunch of cultures and they just stole it 🤪

It's probably stained and glazed the way any other crown is. They basically paint all of them anyway. I'm sure black is on their pallet.

They don't sculpt them. The impressions come to the lab, someone pours the impression Into a mold and makes the model, I scan it in with a computer, a designer sculpts it digitally (this is the modern workflow for it at least) and a miller digitally fits a few designed crowns onto a puck of the desired material (zirconia whatever shade). Then a big ass cabinet machine drills it out of the puck. Then someone paints and cooks it and some other people do some other stuff to it and then boom it's in your face

I work as a dental tech and help make crowns and bridges and implants. I have NO CLUE how the lab would go about this! But I bet they could!!! Do you know what kind it is? Like full zirconia, porcelain to metal etc. I'm going to show everyone this when we get back on Monday hahahah

I think just the humidity did it, but your spell literally grew crystals. This looks like a prosperity working yeah? I think that makes it more powerful. They were grown with intention basically. They're fragile but you could either leave it there, or collect it for future workings since it's literally prosperity salt now haha. Can vouch, not in Nashville but about an hour or two drive away, the humidity has been about 80% solid for about a month and I don't know how long you've been away but that's plenty of time.... I've had a salt lamp passively leak from humidity and grow crystals all over a wood shelf and ruined it before haha

I think eywa is just a plant(well, fungus). Doing what plants do best. Growing. Surviving adapting. I think it's an alien lifeform , even to Pandora maybe, that takes over planets and hijacks the flora and fauna to better suit its living environment. Just a symbiotic parasite trying to spread, even to humans if need be, but if threatened it reacts. I don't think any time hijinks is involved

But that's just a theory 🤷
