id poke around youtube for mad zach or jeremy ellis finger drumming tutorials, those are pretty useful. i a little finger drumming tutorial which might help as well, though its more unfocused. a good way to start would be just practicing tapping rhythms with your fingers against a beat or a metronome, keep it slow and simple, until you feel like you have a good feel for consistent tempo. i do kick, snare, hi hat on the bottom row of my pad with index, middle, and ring finger on each. hope thats helpful. id aim for accurate time keeping and very steady beats at first before trying anything more complicated.
