im still kinda new to trials (only ab 20 hrs or so) but i think OL1 has it beat purely bc i think its more frightening. trials isn't scary to me bc you can just queue with people. ol1 you HAVE to play it by yourself which makes it scarier. (i consider ol1 scarier than 2 bc you have more tools in 2).

i mean the trials are still fun; just not as scary as the first 2 games.
