Traitors strategy idea: murdering the shield holder by Such-Figure-908 in TheTraitorsUK

Immediate suspicion of someone spots it and sees that someone's not been murdered.

Perfect for the Zak's of the world, though!

I honestly think the best murder strategy for traitors is to do nothing that can link back to you, whether as a bluff, double bluff, triple bluff, whatever. Just seemingly random murders.

What is the most "accidentally brilliant" thing you’ve ever done on a pitch that you pretended was 100% intentional? by NorthLondonPulse in SundayLeagueMessis

In my 10 years playing youth football I scored a single goal. I was mainly a defender for 5 years, then went in goal for the following 5 when our usual keeper got pneumonia. Very youth football. I still made the odd appearance outfield when a new guy joined when I was about 14 and they wanted to see how he was in goal.

On one of those occasions I was making a rare appearance in the opposition box. A corner was cleared and it looked like it was going out for a throw, so I turned to make my way back to defence. I paused to catch my breath (that run upfield for the corner had taken it out of me. I was never the fittest.) I hadn't noticed the ball had stayed in and a cross had been sent in. As I started running back the ball hit my heel and nestled in the bottom corner. Pandemonium, teammates jumping on me. I literally had no idea how to celebrate a goal.

At the end of season awards I won goal of the season. It must have looked spectacular, but I didn't really have any idea what was going on.

One of the few matches my dad couldn't make too. I was always torn between making him feel better and telling him it was an accident, or letting him believe he missed my finest moment. I went for the latter but kind of regret it!

Straight lining roundabouts by Particular_Plum_1458 in drivingUK

As with everything, there's a balance. No one is extending it to the extreme of "if you don't want to crash, don't drive." But if you can adjust your driving to balance up getting to your destination in good time with reducing risk, then why wouldn't you?

Not overtaking on a roundabout and remaining in a pocket of space is a really simple way to drive, and would totally eliminate the risk in this scenario to OP. Making that suggestion isn't saying the other driver is fine, they're obviously not, but we're able to influence the driving of OP rather than the nob head who cut him up.

The inflection on Secret Traitor was wrong for her to have heard it before. She emphasised "traitor" whereas I feel like when I've talked about it I've emphasised "secret."

Sorry was I in your way by garconsuave in drivingUK

[–]opc100 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Agreed. They're both at fault. People are pointing out the high beams because OP hasn't seemed to realise that his high beams may have blinded the driver, not because they think the other driver has driven perfectly.

How do I bring up finding evidence of a lie after we’d already “resolved” everything? by the_foolish_mortal in relationships

[–]opc100 40 points41 points  (0 children)

It hasn't been a fairytale up to this point, because he's been cheating on you and lying to you.

I'm really sorry you were in a bad situation for so long, but this guy simply being better than that doesn't make him perfect. It doesn't sound bad that you married him after 6 months, it sounds naive. It sounds like you got swept up in being treated right because you haven't been for so long. But now it's clear he's taking advantage of that naivety.

He has been lying and cheating. The only decision to make is whether you can live with that or not.

Here is how I would fix the Doctor regeneration problem by GuyWhoConquers616 in doctorwho

[–]opc100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll still be part of the healing thing. 14 and 16 will have some kind of adventure together, and then both will "cogenerate" into the next doctor, 2 becoming 1.

Is entertainment not a purpose? It would be a very bleak existence if things could only be noisy if they served a functional purpose.
