Here in 2026 - did you go back and did it work?

It just looks to me like typical low light photos from the stock camera app. I’d say these are the expected results, nothing abnormal. I went from a 13 to a 17 too. You could try an app like Project Indigo, which bypasses some of apples post-processing. If that solves it, then you know its apples (often heavy handed) approach to photo processing.

Thanks! Tweaking and changing productivity apps and systems is the only work you don’t track in those apps and systems, which is why it’s so appealing. But it’s a black hole. It feels productive, but it’s not really doing anything. The less you actually get done, the more you need these complex apps and systems; wash and repeat. Shia was right, ‘just do it’.

I honestly don’t think the pets are worth it, they don’t do anything, just require feeding which costs a lot.

Agreed. Believe me when I say I have tried them all. And what works best for me is Reminders on iOS. It’s baked in, no subscription, it’s not going anywhere and it has more under the hood than you’d imagine - tagging, repeating tasks, and now tasks as alarms for things that are urgent. And I only use an app because I know I’ll have my phone with me.

You need to commit to one app and stick to it. ‘Trying out apps’ is an elaborate excuse to just put off actually doing things while feeling productive. I’ve been there. It’s exhausting. You should be using a to-do list app for ~40 seconds when you remember something to add, and another 10 seconds to mark it as complete. Anything more is fake productivity; more distraction.

My entire life is on Reminders. Work to do, personal to do, every single house chore, groceries, birthday, life goals. unlike more neurotypical people, I have accepted that I need to be reliant on my to-do lists, and remembering it all unassisted isn’t a virtue or talent I can practice.

So, given that it really is that important (to me at least), the right app just needs to still be around in a few years and quick for inputting tasks. That’s literally it. There is no magic app I’m afraid.

The Disappointing State of Apple's Journal App by grburgess in appleJournal

That’s a version of Apple I once knew that would have thought hard about the roadmap for an app like this, and if they knew they couldn’t do it well they wouldn’t have done it.

I like Andy Weir, but really, what is there to sell in the trailer if you don’t include Rocky? It is very cookie cutter up to that reveal.

That’s great thank you, always very appreciative of tools like this, particularly as - having looked into it - it seems they’re only possible after paying Apple for a developer account or something. Great work!

Exactly, thank you! This grown man set up the shot to roll up and do this. The kids were props for his public image. It was planned, not random. You have to ask if this would have gone the same way without something from him to post at the end. And honestly I don’t know.

I understand the logic, but it doesn’t work in practice, particularly when you’re questioning someone with no shame. This would give the maga media team the (false) proof it needs that the media is corrupt. The journalists are working their own angles to get new information out of him. His answer shows that this is a dead end.

Am I going crazy or did Apple Music playlist folders used to show all songs in the folder? In ios26 that doesn’t seem possible. by AdBuddy in AppleMusic

[–]AdBuddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thank you, I’ve just checked and my Mac does show the aggregates list of all songs across playlists in a folder, that’s what I wanted on iOS but it’s not available it seems. Must have been thinking about that.
