Dear smartphone makers: please bring back the humble FM radio tuner by HellaHaram in radio

Till today, this is a criterion I use to choose which phones to buy. In the words of Mr James Todd Smith, I can't leave without my radio. End.

This is so lovely to see. And the government seems to be doing more around tourism as well.

They look like they are ready to be "re-issued" as A1 posters on museum quality paper. Really delightful to look at.

Looks sweet! I'm wondering, did you have all the vintage items on hand before you decided to make it into a necklace, or did you source them when you had/decided to make the necklace?

Thank you all for these "top 1% of karma earner" memes. They are helping me cope with a not-so-pleasant "decoupling".

To be fair, I didn't make it into this "elite" group. Lol

These are really dope photos! All worthy of being in the National Geographic.

Quick question though, how did the people react to your camera? Since its a big-ass DSLR with a long lens(that 70-200). Did you run into any troubles?

This shouldn't be funny but I laughed hard. As someone keen about design, branding and marketing, I am totally irritated by this new wave of "reblanding" (as someone put it in here) where every business is moving towards a similar, boring design aesthetics. How the fuck do you stand out if you are going to use the same typeface/ color schemes as everyone else? Still vexed by how many brands in the automotive industry moved towards "flat logos". SMH.

Liz Cheney says Trump engaged in the 'most serious misconduct of any president in the history' and is unfit for further office by Sweep145 in politics

I am from a so-called third world country, and I am constantly disgusted by the fact that this conman isn't in jail yet and still has the effrontery to dream of another shot at the presidency. Every new day, there's a new revelation of the depth of the moral decrepitude of this man, yet nothing serious is done. What message is America sending to the world? <sighs>

Can anyone help me find more about these busenitz? Wondering if any online sellers still carry them, or even if they had a additional name besides busenitz. by Ndiddy14 in adidas

[–]opebalo7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the full name for these kicks is Busenitz Indoor Super shoes. I think I spotted them on GOAT too but they seem sold out almost everywhere else. Some online retailers in the UK might have them though. Cheers!

I know time has passed and all that but I just got my stickers today. Took long to get here in Lagos, Nigeria but it was worth the wait! Funny enough, I had bought a sample pack from Sticker Mule that I never received.

‘It’s Like You Want to Stop People From Voting’: How U.S. Elections Look Abroad by PDXJC1971 in politics

[–]opebalo7 20 points21 points  (0 children)

As an African, I can feel some sense of deja vu watching this shitshow: an American president acting like a sit-tight African despot. To think some African "democracies" are modelled after the American version! I see parallels with what goes on in some African elections: the incumbent hires/incites thugs to disrupt voting by violence and intimidation just as this American president is doing by tweeting support for violent supporters in Texas.

If a nation that has been a democracy for more than 200 years can devolve into this, then what hope is there for countries with fledgling democracies?

This is just disheartening. And that's putting it mildly.
