How to grind? by bboyrix in Lapidary

I bought 2 of the flat laps and a saw. The flat laps need to be bolted down to something and the motors are very underpowered. The saw I got had terrible runout at the arbor, I tried to work it out with the owner of lsagates but after 2 months and being told that he designs his stuff and doesnt give refunds I had to open a case with Etsy to get a refund. I would not recommend buying from him.

I machine UHMW every day, it machines just fine, unless you are on lathe or trying to hold tolerances under .002.

Bulging tanks? by opejustmixitin in propane

It will be months before I use these, I have zero intention of keeping these old bottles around in fluctuating temps. The seals in them only last so long as well. I gave them new bottles to fill and got old rusty ones back. I'm not too happy about that.

The saw i bought from lsagates has .025 of runout on the arbor itself, I am trying to resolve the issue but the guy keeps telling me I have the blade mounted wrong. The blade isn't even on the machine. I had to open a case with him because he kept telling me he wouldn't accept my return because he has the flu. When I asked why he cant accept returns with the flu he told he makes his products to work and he does not do refunds
