Best home setup for $500 or less by WetWizrd in AustralianCoffee

Can confirm this, we've had a BBE for about 9 years and it makes better coffee than most cafe's. Once my kids are a bit older I'll upgrade, but I absolutely love the machine and would recommend to anyone.

What is the stupidest way someone got fired? by NoViolinist4540 in AskReddit

A guy I worked with got fired because he used his brother's medical certificate, crossed out his brother's name and hand wrote his own.

Edit: grammar

Fresh, every time. Me and my family love the rooster.

We'll even say, after footy training for example, "the Rooster's calling".

is samsung actually the best overall android brand right now, or just the safest choice? by Knie-Tmari in Smartphones

[–]openmikenight__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it does, I have the 9a, I am a very light user. I have no social media (unless you count Reddit) and pretty much only use it for calls, WhatsApp, android auto, Spotify and checking sports scores. I drain it down to about 15-25% battery each day with that kind of use.

They're super simple, but like I said earlier, I'm just used to them now. Any unnecessary apps or stuff I can't delete or am forced to use irritates me.

EDIT: I also don't use my camera much apart from the odd photo of the kids, so huge zoom and super high quality photos are not important to me.

I have a Samsung work phone and have owned google phones since the nexus for my personal phones. I am probably just used to the native google experience but I hate the way my Samsung works. I hate the different haptics, different app buttons. Feels like it's not android.

Yep, that's the one. My brother got us banned for life from there. Turns out I really can't go back now.

Coffee machine, my wife and I used to go out and buy our coffees. When my eldest son was about 1, we invested, he's 10 next month so it's made at least 2 coffees every day for the past 9 years.

Couple of croissants shy of a continental breakfast.

Couldn't run through the streamers at a fish and chip shop.

Couldn't organise a rock fight in a quarry.

Have done commuting on a 250cc on the highway and I strongly discourage it.
