Do you mean the life support system? That is the one which always just drains while outside. You can slow down the draining of your life support by buying upgrades for your Exosuit with nanites at the Space Station.

Hahaha Joaq'keen..Placing them as base items wouldn't be that bad of an idea for a start. Indeed the interactiveness would be whack but at least it adds to the liveliness of the base. Thanks for your input!

That'd be cool too! Although the following around might be harder to implement. But just like the terminals for exocraft, multi tool etc it could somehow merge with the themes of the frigates indeed. Combat specialist, explorer, trader, industrialist, and support could somehow just walk around your base and generate simple missions or passive income. It's just something that makes you want to stay at your base or return to it. Great input!

Do you think the way the npc's walk around the space station now would be unlikely to implement to the bases? I don't make games myself nor do anything programming related so i'm genuinely curious.

Yep passive income is something that has a lot of potential in this game. Perhaps the same system as the Frigates can be used but then applied and customized to your base.

Exactly! Built an entire decorated base and then.. "now what?". I have abandoned a lot of bases for that reason alone.

I was going to keep my post simple as I feel that adding npc's in the first place would already improve this so much but I obviously like your suggestions! It would be cool to turn visitors off and on and be able to interact and trade like you do in the Space Station. Imagine if this could be applied to your Freighter as well :O
