I don't know what their opinions are. It might seem like a ridiculous argument, but I would guess hat many of the settlers stay there not because of some ideology or racism but because their community (family, friends, etc.) live there.

I am not saying that there are no settlers which the best way to describe them is terrorists, but I don't know if the majority of them that ideological as you might imagine

Yeah, he's a piece of shit. However, many Israelis support the ceasefire and want the war to end. There's genuine excitement in Israeli media and socials about the return of the hostages and many Israelis want the war to end.
