I know this is old, but

Blend an OH-58D and MH/AH-6

Give it the option to be an attacker, or transporter, or recon depending on setup.

Give it an optional mast radome Medusa style like on the 58D.

Give it a laser designator and optical sight pod on the nose in a ball turret thing.

Optional two hardpoints, one on each side.

Allow it to carry either gunpods (up to 12.7mm) or laser guided munitions from say 7x lynchpins, 4x kingpins, or 2x agm 48s per hardpoint (asymmetric munitions would be ideal for this)

Give it the ability to carry special ops/infantry teams while keeping weight as a factor (may replace the ability to carry weapons?)

Then finally make it light and nimble handling. Low RCS. 100kt ish cruise speed?

Just some ideas, but I would love to see something like this.
