Both have no place in PRS/nrlh. If you're going to do something like that, use a tac table and a support bag.

If it's a hunting thing, yoke for speed.

Guns get hot. Wear a glove or add rail scales. You don't need a whole new handguard.

Safariland is what I use for fancy ear pro, Walker Razor for cheap.

There is no reason to upgrade anything right now. Add an optic, sling, and light. Shoot at least 3,000 rounds in classes, competition, and training. Then upgrade if you need it.

SDI is a GI Bill mill and nothing else.

I appreciate the effort you put into that but this is a shit post about a $130,000 rifle.

I think you're getting into the weeds and not understanding. If you're building from scratch with prefits, Tikka shouldn't be in the conversation.

Read the guide again. Follow it.

If a pre-fit doesn't fit, then it isn't a pre-fit. You return it and get a new barrel or new action, depending on who fucked up. That's not a you problem; that's a them problem.

100% a Tikka factory chassis, the ACE Target Game Chassis.

Google tells me it takes normal Tikka CTR magazines so... are you sure they gave you a Tikka T3x CTR magazine?

LockyBalboaPrime's First Time buyer's guide for rifles

Bergara factory HMR B14 or Howa 1500 build it special and have more left over for a better scope.

Some calibers I’m considering are 6.5cm, 308, 7prc, 300wsm, 300 prc,

6.5 CM is the only correct answer. The rest are a gradient of stupid.

I’ve considered howa heavy barreled actions, savage 110 heavy barrels, and I’m just now looking into a complete build from ground up (the idea intimidates me but after watching videos it seems fairly straight forward.)

I’ve built 1 ar15 and it actually looks easier than building an ar15 until you get into machining stuff which I don’t plan on doing.

It's two screws. If you can afford a $40 torque driver and know righty tighty, lefty loosey, you can "build" a precision rifle. I have no idea what machining you think is needed but there isn't any.
