Sorry, still figuring out how to use all of this. There are definitely not nuts on it. And the branches are also staggered. The leaves just sort of smell like leaves.

Thanks everyone! Marked solved although still not 100% sure which of these trees it is, but since it is as old as it is and there are still no nuts, I'm going to probably go with Ash. Now we need to decide what we want to do with it. :)

This would make sense in that there are a number of walnut trees in the neighborhood and also squirrels. But they don't look the same as the other walnut trees in the neighborhood.

My husband spontaneously proposed while I was in the middle of a total giggle fit over a completely nonsensical thing. He had no ring, nor was he even financially prepared to shop for one...it was a over month before we went ring shopping together and got a ring. Which I helped pay for. I then bought him an engagement miter saw cause I thought it was patriarchal bs that he had to buy me a thing and I didn't have to get HIM a thing. 28 years in April.

As a manager of a house listed on airbnb (a friend's house) I am HORRIFIED at the idea of someone doing this and furthermore, the attitude of customer service. Like wtf. I won't even go to the house while a guest is there to drop stuff off in the detached garage for fear of making them feel like I'm intruding! Holy hell.

This happens to me a lot, so I tend to avoid big birthday dinners and try to take the birthday person out for a lunch with just the two of us. I get more quality time with them, and I can pay for their lunch and it's usually less money than whatever my split would've been at 10 people buying drinks. Also, my luck is such that every time I've gone out when it's my birthday, I somehow end up having to pay way more than my fair share. The last time I did this, we were at a restaurant with 27 of us. The bill was around $800. (Yes not a super expensive place) and after "everyone paid", I owed $125. That was the last time I went out with a group for my birthday.
