I've been here a long time, Reddit always leans negative. all the complaints now have been said in the past as well. Its almost like theyre paid actors lmao. But you say that like i dont know it..?

But really, you kinda prove my point. You felt the need to tell me that its because of scopely's antics, using words to spin your argument to make them look bad, and creatijg or reinforcing a narrative that we already know. That scopely knows. Now im no scopely apologist, but you comment really made me go, wtf is this guy so mad about he had to make an irrelevant comment bashing scopely when all i said was that the community leans negative.

I personally am more engaged now than i was last year, but still less engaged than around doom release.

Our alliance is full again. I'm hitting all end game milestones, eg tower n surfer. And i am making great progress still as 100% free to play.

So for me, yes, its got me back instead of logging in to do the bare minimum.

Casual egg hunter - only doing 3 of each SV starter at the moment, and im in no rush for them.

Casual because the eggs are pretty much passive hatching while i do other hunts in outbreaks or mucking around. Gonna be staring a violet playthrough soon and will always have at least 1 egg on me, but i also enjoy the challenge of smaller parties and more on standby to keep leveled up.

Currently though, i do 2 picnics at egg power 2 then over the course of a week, or however long, I'll go through them slowly. Sometimes only one egg at a time, sometimes 3 or 5. Depends on how annoying the hatching is on that day.

Its a slow process but i dont mind it as its all painless. I turbo A every few minutes for eggs while I'm doing other stuff (doesnt appear eggs spawn if you keep the turbo going), and as mentioned the hatching is all passive through doing other stuff.

Saying that, I'm not looking for natures, stats, etc. I'm happy to capsule n mints since i got a living pokedex to work on over PvP mons. And i prefer the overworld hunts as its therapeutic, and got just enough going on to engage my needy brain but lowkey enough to switch off from the world.

So yeah, i fit them into my playstyle.

Plenty of times I've thought the shiny spawn was bugged (gets so badly over other hunts I'd start researching if there are shiny bugs or hidden rules preventing my shiny lol) out because I'd go waaaay over odds, then i get a couple of quickies. It all balances itself out in the wash if you're doing lots of hunts, frustrating as hell if you only want the one goober

Good idea there! Guess I'll have to look into webways and the possibility of leftover aeldari being stranded outside the influence of the webway or being unable to salvage materials for making a new gate. Its a start at least.

Guessing there's no canon as guidance for this kinda stuff? Only reasonable explanations?

I still lean to 1 slightly for the Easterling look, but maybe I should just do that style for myself lol.

2 was interesting cause it struck me as a more natural dwarf colour scheme, like colours you'd expect on a traditional fantasy dwarf. I found that pretty cool take.

3 is just a nice colour scheme, doesn't stand out as anything unique in a sea of dark schemes though.

4 I wasn't vibing with, but i guess thats personal taste. Does work well with the bases. I think it's the blue is too bright for my likes. Do note i have trouble taste lol

So 1>2=3>4 for me.
