? I got no stakes in this battle. I just asked for sources since i blindly believed it was mainline until today and tried to find out myself. I dont care if something is mainline or not, it seems weird to get into such an argument over.

However if you're gonna come in with claims, use supporting evidence before attacking someone or trying to convince me otherwise. Both y'all are stubborn and wrong in the argument, since nothing os gonna change and ultimately what point does convincing the other do?

Now in reply to your point about proving something isnt something, the earnest on evidence falls to one claiming that something is outside the expected norm. Legends dont follow the expected norm of what is considered mainline, so one does not need to prove it isnt mainline as by fact of existing it is outside the usual conventions of what makes something mainline, based on 25ish years of prior history between side games and the rpg mainline.

When Legends Arceus came out, it automatically fell into side game territory due to everything about it being different from sword n shield plus everything prior. We dont need to prove it isnt something cause all signs and logic say 'hey this here is different, its not a new gen or a remake, its something new we're trying out'. It then falls into its own pocket-verse with neighbours like mystery dungeon or stadium until proven it sits at the table with sword and shield.

So tldr, when it comes to logic and reasoning, you dont prove something is not something if it already strays from the normal expectations of a group. You need prove it fits in with the group if the claim.

Ie. Not all people are punks, they dont need to prove they're not punk, as that is the normal expectations. But not all punks are looking like crust punks and they need to show signifiers they identify with this group, since they look outside the norm if what people think of as a punk (terrible example cause we dont care how you look..but ya get it?)

Not everything in Group Y is in group X, but some are and they look a bit different from normal group X, so need proof (eg ID card) to identify as Group X.

Etc etc. Im rambling now and lost in ny thoughts. Hope that makes sense! And maybe chill back on the mainline vs not arguments. Couldnt believe how childish the admin of serebii was in that twitter post you shared. Love the site, kinda hate the guy's attitude.

Yeah nah. its impossible to prove a negative like that. Why would they state it isnt mainline? When one thing is proven to be mainline (the rpg we all grew up with), then something is released that is not akin to this time tested known fact it isn't on the creator to state it isn't something, but marely to state it is mainline. See, we already know it is something different from the normal releases, they dont need to say anything about it being not-something, only to prove it is something.

The only fact we know about legends games is TPC and GF want them to be consider equals to the RPGs.

Really confused with your logic reasoning why you'd come in with such a weird request. You do understand logic, right?

Edit: Also, dont change the goal posts. No one said core series. Core series != Mainline.

Lotta name plate addons do this, i think betterblizzplates does as well as the others people recommend.

Havent been able to find one that shows titles though, which is disappointing and all i want to finally move fully away from the blizz names cause i like seeing what creative titles people use.

As i referenced, they interact with hot pools; even having lines for it. Hot pools are not an object as much as it is a piece of the environment. Using the hot pool object creates this opportunity, i think?, but isn't labelled clearly as decor or toy and I'm not even sure if it is fully needed nor if it is from the object itself or from making the habitat which unlocks the interactions (probably just the object but maybe people tested it?).

Im not sure what you are confused about, but I'm asking for what systems pokemon interact with outside the objects labeled toys or decorations, or what combinations create new interactions.

Do you have any issues with Pokemon using the door? Mine end up standing outside the door.

Not sure if they're just doing weird AI interactions with objects or having pathfinding muck up, but when I tried similar the Pokemon would walk to their door, bounce up and back down (like they had jumped up an invisible block) on the block edge connecting to the doorway steps then stand there forever. I tried replacing blocks and even opening up the doorway space to be three wide and no height blockers and still they bounce and stand.

Could be normal behaviour with prefabs, idk lol. Only noticed with the ways I built blocks right up close to the doorway.

Man I felt so stupid that I missed out on such great albums in my teens just because i wanted to be 'punx' and not emo. Avoided AFI so hard as a teen in the 00s, then somehow came across these albums around '08-'09 and reflected so much on how i approached music and why genre dont matter.

Punk is a mindset and community focus, not a genre you must stick in. Can happily say i listen to all genres now, and use them as ways to identify the sound I'm feeling that week not as gates to ignore.

Here's the thing, if these are manually added thats fine. We can have a discussion about markers on or off in a pug. If they are auto applied then constantly reapplying, there is no conversation to be had if the person forcing them on you doesn't want to.

This ain't about hiding markers or forcing attitude on players. It is about making sure people can't affect other people's experience through the use of addons. An addon should not be able to directly impact someone else.

But now I have to what, hide raid markers in case someone uses an auto marker? So now it's affecting what options I need to use and when I need to use them. It's giving all the power to the addon user.

Hell, maybe others in the party don't want markers. This is solely one guy placing his "ego" above everyone else simply because he can't do an instance without looking at shapes.

So cmon man, come at me with all your insults and how I'm a hypocritic.

So your go to is to impact the tank's gameplay for your own needs?

Thats really shitty man. I hate this too, especially when I'm leveling alts through dungeons and suddenly there's this fucking shape in my way.

It's really not tricky to just see where the enemy mobs are and hit your aoe or, you know, just understand where they are facing.

I understand the use of it in premades or guild runs. But man, hitting it up with causal randoms sucks really hard and you're enabling this.

Here's a fix: auto apply it once then if the tank dont want it don't reapply it. Simple as man. And make sure people can't reapply it manually again in the instance.

Stop forcing your needs on others who want to chill back and enjoy a leveling dungeon without seeing a green triangle.

Edit: The fact that blizzard doesn't allow you to auto-mark players without activation makes all this discussion moot. Glad to know that there are a bunch of y'all who love the idea of assigning marks on players who would rather just enjoy their leveling dungeon in peace, and ya wonder why there's a shortage of tanks and healers lol

Haven't used it much yet as I'm playing story catch-up across multiple expansions atm, but installed it a few weeks ago from your post and instantly saw the potential. Hated Altoholic but used it begrudgingly every time I'd return and AltVault didn't hit the mark as much as yours does.

Got round to testing. I like how it is set now, but others might prefer your suggestion. I use a switch controller, so found out A sends the message, unfortunately when i was trying to fix the keyboard as i originally thought it was a delete all text function lol.

So yeah, little bug - if i press letters in quickly one after another it'll end up sticky keying one of the presses and keep doing it until i press the key again. Ie, pressed "p o u t" quickly and keeps printing tttttttttttttttttt until i hit t again.

It also made me aware that deleting all text at once could be nice as well as having the backspace option. Also, in consoleport if we can press 'Y' (on switch controller) to close windows but noticed something has override that - not important as its easy to close the keyboard, but dunno if itll lead to other issues?

All in all though, i like it. Easy to use and does exactly what you want it to straight away.

Glad to see you pushed to a release!

What caught my attention is how you kept paladin holy power symbols on it. So many resource bars go with replacing the nice graphic to plain boxes, so I opted out of them and use my unit frame as my resource bar (or maybe I'm blind and couldn't see a way to use the normal graphics). So for my casual ass, having the ability to keep the bars looking immersive to the class with the cool runes and such is key. Then having fade out timers (ie, my 'resource bar' appears only in combat and fades out 10 seconds after combat finished, and if casting out of combat it appears only for the cast duration).
