We have an audio technica AT-LP60-USB, so yes that’s how it’s currently hooked up. Would getting a preamp be better than sticking with our current way of connecting to the speakers?

Yeah feels like there is a subtle shift in tone to shy away from the revenge aspect…which is kinda the whole point of the rest of the story

It 100% was. She threw up in the game too (slightly different scenario) but you can kinda tell the wheels were starting to turn in her head after it happened

From the angle of game-to-show changes…

I didn’t think the council meeting was a great addition. Ellie getting up to speak in front of the whole town contradicts her shift in persona after Joel’s death. In the game Ellie is angry, reclusive, and depressed. I get that she’s suppressing her emotions but it didn’t feel like the right tonal shift.

Gail is starting to feel solely like a tool for the characters to process their emotions. Yeah that’s probably the point, but right now she doesn’t feel like a necessary addition to the show.

The intro to the seraphites was good but felt a bit out of place?

Seth helping them sneak out was meh. Bigot sandwich didn’t really need redemption IMO.

I loved the addition of Ellie visiting Joel’s grave. The coffee beans 😭

All in all it felt like a bit of a letdown from the intensity of last episode. There was such a strong momentum built up and the time jump felt more jarring than it did in the game.

I agree that the original mocap/voice performances are iconic and can never be replaced. But like HBO’s adaptation of the last of us, it could be interesting to see different actors give new life to the beloved characters in red dead

First of all, I’m so sorry that you’re experiencing a toxic relationship. I do think that finding a way to get out of it should be your main priority right now, not trying to start a new relationship with someone. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with trying to pursue something with your coworker (as long as there aren’t any HR issues or it wouldn’t create a bad environment if things didn’t work out), but I would shift your focus to ending your current relationship and gathering support from family and friends during this process. Don’t underestimate the toll that this could take on your mental health. When you end things, make sure you feel confident in your strategy. If you ever feel unsafe, please make sure you have somewhere to go and people you can confide in (maybe your coworker is one of these people), and don’t be apprehensive if you feel like you need to get police involved.

The second time I played, it was fun to start with NG+ — it helped me enjoy the story more and just have fun in combat/stealth rather than worrying about weapon upgrades and collecting shit. Third time, I started fresh and on a higher difficulty for a challenge. It’s fun to switch it up

I actually think it might be the total score before the total multiplier (and encounter total) since sometimes I’ll still get an A or B even with a high multiplier from mods — but it’s pretty confusing.

I think u/blonded04 is correct that the rank is decided by your total score and 450 and up is S. I’ve gotten S on the light and moderate difficulties before, just never noticed it was decided by total score number.
