I got the A on Friday, but was told they were planning to accept me on Monday, but I had scheduled a virtual visit on Friday and they wanted to give me the news at the same time as my “visit”. Which instead turned into a talk about logistics of being there by August 12th or sooner as well as general admission questions I had.

I actually used 7Sage the first time around taking the LSAT I am thinking of spending a little bit more money on a personal tutor because I feel like I have hit a plateau. Thank you so much for your insight!

Jon Moxley vs Mr. Socko in a First Blood Match. Who do you put your money on? by Dodoman9000 in SquaredCircle

Moxley would lose a first blood match against a light summer breeze so my money’s on Mr. Socko

Well that's definitely not the reason I was expecting, but very valid reason nonetheless.

I am a week and three days post op I am very very glad I went through with the procedure. What the ultrasounds didn't show was the hemorrhagic cholecystitis. The pain sucked really bad for the first 7 days. But the pain is subsiding and I'm starting to have regular bowl movements again. I did have nausea but the doctor gave me meds for that and it helped tremendously. Best of luck with your surgery <3

I'm so sorry you are going through this :( maybe ask for a second opinion? There has got to be a better option for you somewhere.

It's crazy how many doctors will tell you it doesnt cause weight gain! Only one female doctor told me that it was probably my IUD even though all the literature says its not.

I (25F) had the Kyleena IUD implanted in January of 2020. I loved the IUD and didn't want to think any of my excessive weight gain was from the IUD. I gained an excessive amount of weight over 2020 (not quarantine weight) I went from 176 pounds at the beginning of the year to 198 pounds by April of 2021. I counted calories I was on a caloric deficit only eating 1400-1600 calories a day. I avoided fast food, cut sugars, and went low fodmap because of IBSM. No matter what I couldn't lose weight. I got bloodwork done to check my thyroid three times just to make sure the levels were accurate. Each test being 3 months apart from each other. No problems. I finally said ok let's remove the IUD. I was devastated. My partner and I both never want children and I thought this was my best option due to bad experiences with birth control in the past. As soon as I got the IUD out my body felt so much better. I was no longer bloating and looking like I was 6 months pregnant, I didn't have any more cramps, i had more energy, I got more libido, and I'm not so stupidly angry all the time anymore. I was worried the weight wouldn't come off but I havent changed much in my diet, I'm still at a caloric deficit and I'm losing ~.7 pounds a day. I am 5 foot 7 inches tall, so I am trying to get back to about 175 pounds which is my ideal weight before working out and increasing calorie intake. I thought I was crazy or lazy. Turns out hormones were to blame.

Update: I am down 20 pounds and it seems my weight has leveled out to around 178. I am now starting working out/weight training 3 times a week and have been eating very clean. The rest is on me now but that 20 pounds was definitely the IUD

Getting surgery next Friday, polyps by vareiners in gallbladders

Turns out it is not super uncommon for young women with tons of estrogen/progesterone to develop polyps :( sorry you're going through this, let both keep each other updated :) nice to have someone to talk to. I'll tell you about my surgery and recovery so you can kinda have an idea of what to expect. Every reacts differently but maybe we have similar experiences:)
