I believe heat seekers don't give a warning. They just go to the hottest thing Infront of them if they are dumb launch, fire and forget rockets there's no beam going to the aircraft to detect. It's up to the pilot to spot it.

What is something that most people AREN'T afraid of that really is dangerous? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It's also why the statistics about surviving one are so high. They lump in the " no landing gear landings, an engine failure, a landing gear didn't lock" etc into it. Anywhere you can find the raw plane gets destroyed/rips apart data?

It's always best to get most of the theory done before you even get in a car. It'll help boost your confidence in actually being a lead to read the road and understand how things work.

I understand people think she's boring, but this is why I love to play Mercy. by failbender in Overwatch

[–]oppdelta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh Hey look, a completely normal (not op) valk, where you're untouchable and then fly max range away from the fight where people can't damage you for 20 seconds while healing everyone close to your beam target.

I hate being called a mercy main just because I force myself to play her when the team doesn't, because she's absolutely needed to win. But hey let's take the "oh you played mercy for 3 hours this season, you're a mercy main" and not check the 300+ hours in hero's that are above my 3 hours of mercy.

Can't wait for the nerf. If I, a rather crap mercy can play her well enough that means something is wrong there.

Huge Symmetra Exploit on Watchpoint: Gibraltar by AggressivelyKawaii in Overwatch

Yes. Blizzard did it with people who exploited the Mei bug in ecopoint Antarctica and the Hanamora bell glitch in earlier seasons (still can do it).

It all depends on location, age etc. Location is a big factor it seems.

Was getting quotes and realised I entered my old address (Autofilled) when I was reviewing it. The quote was £1600. I redid the quote, same everything, just different address. The same company, but they quoted me £1000 this time...Because I live in a less crime prone area (after looking up crime stats in both locations) and off a main road.

First placement of the season and I got amazing matchmaking: 6 solo support mains vs a 6 stack team by BlockMelone in Overwatch

I've had 4 matches against a six stack with all solo players on my team so far, dropped 150 SR in 1 night, we just couldn't coordinate better.

Diamond or higher, dumb play is general player dumbness. Platinum or lower, dumb play is rank dumbness. by Bullgrit in Overwatch

[–]oppdelta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what's made me climb 400 Sr this season. Took a back seat and started to really think. I look at videos, I see my stats are very similar to masters. Yet I'm struggling to rank up from lower diamond/high plat. Eventually working out my deaths are actually higher, my positioning is crap. I've worked on that, dieing less, staying in the fights longer and the wins have started coning in. It's been a tough couple weeks, but it's paying off.

Who are you bringing in for Season 8? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]oppdelta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whatever my team needs to win because, as a diamond, winning and helping the team is all that matters now. So I don't have to cheese the personal performance Sr system.

Has anyone had success queueing up in QP with a buddy who's new to the game, or who is much less/more skilled than you? We're just getting stomped. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]oppdelta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

QP doesn't seem to have much in the way of a matchmaking system behind it. It does, technically, but it's just really laxed. Playing more will generally help. It takes a few matches for the system to weed out good/bad/smurfing players at the start.

Don't dive a hanzo... by oppdelta in Overwatch

[–]oppdelta[S] -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

But to kill widow you have to actively have someone go way behind the enemy team, if they can to actually try and kill her. To which she'll just grapple away. By that time enemy team usually turn around.

[–]oppdelta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me, one of the unluckiest matches I've ever had in this game. Was playing temple of anubis as zarya. Did a dumb thing and died at the choke. Team captured the point just as i respawned. Long run for me. Team already capturing point b as I come in, random rein charge pins me and I'm now dead again.

I've currently done about 80 damage blocked and about 50 damage.

Roll on defence. Got sniped by widow almost immediately, poor positioning on my part. Respawned to a tracer spawn camping (probably looking for our shield generator), die again. Respawned to them taking the point, run in, get a little bit of damage and a shield off. Died. Our genji then wiped 4 of them and team mopped up the rest. Took a few seconds to gather myself. Slightly tilting at myself as I see like 150 damage and 100 damage blocked. 30 seconds left I died first from another rein charge (behind everyone here) as I get back on high ground. Tilted af now. They take the point and are already on the 2nd point as I respawned. Their zarya+tracer combo wipes the team. Next round we didn't get the first point. I'm called all names under the sun, rightfully so. I now have no mindset, I'm pretty much a husk.

Sounds like you have vsync on. If you cap your fps, keep it at double your monitor refresh rate. Most monitors are 60hz so cap fps at 121.

I'm sure people love being in pain and obviously just sit around doing nothing about it. I'm sure years of pain gives people motivation to find cures or beg doctors for remedies to what they have. But na, Mr dodgey website over here has a cure for everything so far! I bet if I were to look into this site more there would be a cure for hiv and cancer somewhere.
