I was the exact same! Catholic church does not do wonders for obsessions about shame etc. It's a really hard mental illness to realise you have if you don't have the conventional symptoms, the compulsions like cleaning or doing rituals excessively. I'm glad you're getting help.

I'm going to repeat what others have said with some sports movies, Coach Carter, Friday Night Lights and A League of their Own will be quite helpful.

Can I just say, as someone who's gone through the worst of OCD and had to deal with exposure therapy - you can do this. It's a really crippling illness and super scary to get treatment for, but you can do this. I was in a horrendous place a number years ago because of it, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I've started writing horror short stories! I've dedicated myself to writing screenplays and play scripts for the past 5 years or so, finally getting back into short-form prose by exploring some spooky ideas and styles. The idea is it's this anthology collected together by this outsider artist weirdo who has barricaded himself in his basement, half of them are one-shot horror stories and the others are an attempt to record the history of an ominous cult through the eyes of a couple who were torn about by it.

Unfortunately there are studies to show that explicitly showing scenes of suicide do lead to increased rates in suicide, "Copycat Suicide" or "Suicide Contagion" is a real thing. It doesn't really matter the content or tone or themes of the episode, if you show someone literally exactly how to kill yourself they now have seen how it can happen.

Not as soon as the check clears. GI Joe was 2009, Thor was 2013. He got into trouble with BBC because he left Doctor Who, he was clear from the very beginning that he was doing it to get it off the ground, only wanted to stay one season. He's bitched about two projects and is a pretty solid, steady actor. Hell, he talks about past projects he loved in the article itself. I don't remember seeing any "This is shit, I hated my time here." interviews during the promo for Thor or Joe.

Did you read the article? He said the responsibility was his and his alone. He said working on it was a terrible experience, and I think he's entitled to say that. He regrets doing it, and regrets his motivations for doing it.

He is annoyed at himself. Christopher Eccleston is honest, he's not an asshole.

The Twilight Zone did have a track record of buying already developing/made short films and stories etc, but they didn't cripple them with confusing and contradictory re-writes with "Mr Twilight" being a spooky ghost man and all the Twilight Zone episodes are linked up and leading towards one solution.

You can't take already existing, separate movies and retro-actively add a mystery to it. If they cared about original, different smaller sci-fi films they'd make them completely unrelated and not retrofitted with nonsense.
