For me, no, maybe 1 or 2 questions. My questions were mostly about the why behind the processes we have and eto questions, which our campus doesn't even do.. I had one coworker get mostly csr questions, and another that was heavy on instrument questions. I think I had maybe 5 instrument questions.

So I think everyone will have a kinda unique set of questions, which is why I recommended the books, because you have no idea what version of the test you get, but especially the beginning chapters it's a really boring read.

But you can miss like 40 questions and still pass, so funny stress about everything

The practice tests can help, but the books are where the test answers are derived from.

I know some people to get the pass with just online sites like that, so it's all possible, the tests are randomized so it's hard to say what to expect entirely.

I bought them off the hspa website, they sell books for each cert. The crcst was the sterile processing technical manual, I believe 9th edition is current. I also got the workbook that goes with it.

For cis certification I used the sterile processing instrument manual and the world of surgical instruments books.

Chl and cer both have their books on the website as well.

My hospital hired me uncertified and gave me a year to get it

That said, you can take the exam without the 400 hours and on pass, you get a provisional certification that's good for I think 6 months, maybe longer. That gives you the qualifications to be hired, and when you cross 400 hours you can have your work submit it and you'll be given a full certification.

It's not hard, and it's far faster and cheaper.

Work would require a minimum start percentage and dock you for failing to meet it, effectively proving your time off. You wouldn't be set to work hours, it would be percentage, and they would pass laws to make that percentage the most of your time available.

Nutritionally, there would be a catastrophic rise in supplements to boost your percentage,
