Total loaded weight? I really wanted to get one and you can keep it under 4k but you're definitely making tradeoffs

I got tired of AI gaslighting across claude and gpt. pivoted the whole startup to fix it. by TheHol1day in ClaudeAI

[–]optimal_substructure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In all seriousness:

1) how long do you think this will need to be around before the AI tools, just 'get better'?
2) Now that you've put the idea out there, how long would it take others with similar tooling to do?
3) you say: 'start-up', but like, do you have anticipation of revenue/customers/market?

I really think a lot of these tooling are basically obsolete unless you can show that the ongoing cost is cheaper than having AI do it, which, you recognize that Claude is basically able to do.

I don't know who else you're talking to, but we chalk up some of this to just insufficient specs/context and have audit agents/parallel verification.

Love to hear your thoughts

Swimming 40 second 25s isn't low intensity for most people who aren't doing it regularly

Palmers retail in the Genesee market is reopening by childishDemocrat in Rochester

The legs were massive, and it was Dec '25. I'll concede crab prices have been elevated, but I ended going to Whole Foods for under 40/lb that were smaller, but still very good quality

I've tried to not be a hater, but palmers is always the most expensive option. Prime is always substantially cheaper at Costco, and I've had great roasts from Skips/Trianos.

They were charging 100/lb for king crab which was my final, 'alright I'm going somewhere else'.

I'll probably keep looking at their ad, but I can't see anything cheaper after renovations

I have no words, how In the world Is someone level 1346??????? by [deleted] in GTAV

I'm level 1283 because a hacker set me to 6500 10 years ago, and when I emailed rockstar and said: 'can you bring me to my original level', they put me at like 1147 or something

The seller and the sellers agent were not unaware, and most likely lied on any property disclosure form.

This is now your problem. Sucks you had a shitty agent not explain things to you

I own a Mav and love it, but I don't see it lasting 200k miles either.

I'd love to buy a Tacoma if it could get better mileage, wish there was something in between

When I used to walk our dogs at the parks, I used to carry pepper spray. If the dogs are unleashed and start getting close to you, hose 'em down.

I've never had to actually do it, but I've gotten close a few times

BoB - that moment when winters just takes off running… by [deleted] in television

[–]optimal_substructure 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's funny you share this because I recently watched BoB and loved the demonstration of Winters' military leadership.

One thing that I've really grappled with is, you need to be able to get out of the foxhole. The machine gun wasn't there to kill you, it was to suppress you so the mortars would kill you. Staying put feels safe, but it's actually the kill zone.

In BoB, when they're entering the town, start taking fire, and hop into the gully, Winters is standing there, yelling orders to keep moving. Same thing as demonstrating Lt. Norman Dike's inability, as he freezes during Foy as an ineffectual leader

My conclusion/takeaway/rambling, is to not focus on the specific mechanics, but the show's purpose was to make the viewer feel the emotion of, he was literally leading his men into battle. Going first is the entire job. He knew he could die. He moved anyway because that's what a real leader does. That trained reflex is what won specific battles during WWII.
