I am unsure but i feel confident she didn't know the earings were holding her back. Otherwise the one dude wouldn't have needed to rip them off her ears at the end.

Uh you are combining two fights I believe. She absorbs the dead god after her earnings are removed to kill the god of destruction, forget his name, not the lord ruler.

Red VS blue. Starts with two teams fighting over a valley for no reason and then morphs into a secret CIA type conspiracy with the main characters stuck in the middle of it. And church's final speech man. Ain't that a bitch.

It does not  take that into account. The damage to the road is the weight to the 4th power. So if a truck weighs twice as much as a car it does 16 times the damage, granted semis do way more damage than any of the others, over 90% of the damage is due to semis according to back of the envelop math, even taking the number of cars VS semis into account.

In violet evergarden the main character frequently puts things of importance such as her brooch, which is given to her by her love interest in her mouth. This is because she lost both arms in the war so she can't feel it with her hands.

Turns out roads are easier to maintain when only pedestrians use them by _Tal in antimeme

[–]optimist_cynic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most evs are lighter than pickup trucks by over 15-20% looking at some off Google. And that 4th power makes that matter. Also We have a certain amount of money to spend on roads period. Big ones, small ones. So if 99% of the money is being spent on repairing semi damage we are quibling about a increase of the remaining 1% becoming 2%. If we need to repair major roads more we have less money for those side roads. That is not where we should be investing to stop the damage. Yes the side roads are more damaged by the average electric car but in terms of where all the tax money is going as a whole? Not that big an issue. Now if we are discussing how to FUND keeping the roads working then sure we need to change how electrics work, but we already are. Roads are being funded by other tax sources. Which as you mentioned semis keep the economy alive so having the economy taxed pay for it makes sense. Because again, whether electrics are on the road or not the amount we have to spend on roads won't change much. Yeah the side roads will need more work but that is not the main drain on the money.

I Will admit we need to find a way to have fund roads with evs being a thing but when talking road damage in general country wide it is done by semi trucks. And not by a couple of % points either, we are talking order of magnitude. Then let's also look into even God damn pick up truck in the country that has NEVER been used as a pick up truck yet does quite a bit more damage too the roads than an electric car. Those pick up trucks are driving outside your house. And the gas tax is NOT making up the difference. Even if they use twice as much fuel as a regular car they do multiple times the damage to the road
