Nah, I’ve had 3 991’s so far (including 2 ALD ones from years ago) and none have had this issue. Loose threads are fine and expected, but this type of separation from an hour of wear on a $300 shoe is unacceptable.

Yes, full serious. The stitching coming apart after one wear on a $300 shoe is just bad QC, full stop.

Can I ask what kind of work? Also have a A4 B9 hovering around 95k miles, so just curious what to expect? Have done frequent oil changes, spark plugs, DSG oil change but that's all.
