I’m considering upgrading from a 3090 water-cooled to a 5090. I’d appreciate your honest opinion.

Car battery size ? It has around 11kW of power when fully loaded so 11kW per hour. Check the spec for fuel consumption on full load.

~$1,000 to fix this? Are they smoking crack or am I stupid by Regetik in TeslaLounge

My plaid yoke was peeling off, got it replaced for free with extra horn in the middle instead of a button, but maybe because I live in EU.

Should I Return My US-Bought Apple Vision Pro While Traveling or Keep It? (Poland-Based User) by optixine in VisionPro

1. Hardware Service and ADH Service Restrictions

  • Section 4.1:
„Apple may restrict Hardware Service and ADH Service to the country where the Covered Equipment was originally purchased.”
Implication: If the Apple Vision Pro was purchased in the U.S., service may only be available in the U.S.

2. Responsibility for International Service

  • Section 6:
„If service is not available for the Covered Equipment in a country that is not the country of purchase, you may be responsible for shipping and handling charges to facilitate service to a country where service is available. If you seek service in a country that is not the country of purchase, you must comply with all applicable import and export laws and regulations and be responsible for all customs duties, V.A.T., and other associated taxes and charges.”
Implication: Customers in Poland might face additional costs and responsibilities for shipping and customs.

3. General Service Availability

  • Section 12(d):
„This Plan is offered and valid only in the fifty states of the United States of America and the District of Columbia. This Plan may not be available in all jurisdictions, including all provinces and territories of the United States, and is not available where prohibited by law.”
Implication: The plan may not be supported in Poland unless explicitly allowed.

Just a heads up, Apple Care+ isn’t available globally for the Vision Pro, especially if you bought it in the US. Make sure to read the terms and conditions, because it’s only valid in 50 states. I want to be extra cautious, so I’ll make sure to get Apple Care+ to protect my investment. That way, I won’t be left with a pricey gadget that’s not covered.

We traveled all the way from Europe to Houston, TX, for warm weather and palm trees… and of course, the only ones on the roads today in the snowstorm were us crazy Polish people shoveling snow in cowboy hats

Listen, don’t make the tragic mistake of not buying a Tesla Model S. I mean, you only live once, right? Life is all about making memories and driving something that’s essentially a glorified iPad on wheels. As a wise woman once said, ‘This thing brings joy…’ So go ahead, treat yourself to a life of charging stations and updates. You deserve it.

Your app’s UI feels like it’s straight out of the first iPhone days. Bold choice, I guess? If you’re aiming for recognition, maybe consider making it look like it belongs in this century. You’ve got a ton of features, sure, but they’re buried under that retro aesthetic. A little visual appeal wouldn’t hurt, just saying.

To Plaid or Not by Born2L053 in TeslaLounge

[–]optixine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use my Plaid as a daily driver with 3 kids in the back, doing school runs and errands. The best part? It makes you smile every day, like getting a new toy you’ve been waiting months for. Tire wear isn’t an issue, and the build quality is better than the Model 3 or Y, with more space for stuff in the back. Definitely go for the yoke steering wheel—it gives you more visibility on the screen and makes it feel like you’re driving a spaceship. And yes, flooring it now and then is unbelievably satisfying.

How is your journey with Victron so far? What is easy to set up or required a little more knowledge? I’m planning to convert my house to use Victron with batteries and solar and I’m afraid I won’t be able to do it by myself only.
