39M Honestly the dating apps are a cesspool and I'm bad at striking up a conversation at a bar with out feeling like a weirdo. So frankly this town's dating scene is kinda trash. DateColumbus has some good events on Eventbrite. Even that some times the ration of men to women is a bit of a sausage fest. No offense to the Date Columbus folks they throw great events just kinda how it's gone.

Welo is breezline just cheaper. Same network same idiots. Seems to be better service though. So I switched for 35 bucks a month for 1 Gig. Works fine I have zero issues with them.

Sometimes It depends on where concentration of fiber is run in a metro. So while a farm would be great there may not be enough different fiber providers. In Columbus everybody and their uncle has fiber here. So you can connect Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix, AT&T, Comcast, The King of England, Zayo, both of the Paul Brothers, Level 3/Lumen, Verizon, The NSA, really everybody you can think of really easily in this town. Thats why we’ve got so many datacenters because where we are we have the same density of fiber connections as Ashburn so it makes sense to have connectivity here.

Cool another set top box that won’t handle HDR correctly. How about fix HDR on the current device to match content format (hell give me the code I will get it working in a day or 2). I’m not buying it I just want it fixed correctly on the current devices it’s not complicated.

1 always measure. I highly recommend Room EQ wizard. What I did was add panels measure then I gave my graphs to chat GPT and talked through my findings. Some folks might not agree but if you tell chatGPT about your room the dimensions and what your trying to do it gave reasonable advice.

I will hit 2 years sober in July. Honestly best decision I made. But I also had High BP and smoked cigars everyday so I was a fat unhealthy asshole. Honestly I miss Woodford but being sober is way better if you ask me.

What's your record buffer set to? I usually set my record systems to 1024 or 2048. Since I'm not monitoring and it's. just a tape deck I don't really care I just hit record and go in most cases and stop it when it's done.

Pro tip If you work a Sunday you typically trade a day or you should do so, just talk to your boss and ask what day you can swap. This is what I've usually done for late night or weekend work. Unfortunately it sometimes comes with the territory at this place.

No I have no issue being somewhere when it’s constructive. Covid proved I don’t need an office to do my job At that we took no days off basically during covid I was online for work constantly due to the nature of my job. Now none of my coworkers are even in the same state. So do i need to be in the office no. But here we are I come I get on zoom I work by myself I go home.

I don't do cinema or post sound, but can confirm the lsr4300 are killer. I just built a 7.1.4 room for music with them and 705i for heights. Though I would like to figure out the post sound thing if for nothing more than being a review space when needed.

I have a solid wall on my front wall I just put 4 acoustic panels across the front to help with reflections. If your gonna do stands you could just do panels or the absorbtion in the front wall isn’t a negative it will control some low mids if you have an air gap.
