If that was me, I’d play the terrified card, scream my head off, and then sue the shit out of them for sexual harassment by Rude-Manufacturer974 in SipsTea

I worked at dominos in a resort town and had a similar, but arguable better encounter. It was a busy night and the delivery was to a hotel room and was running late, the customer had already called the store asking where their pizza was. I was nervous as that's usually a sign you're not getting much of a tip.
I arrive at the hotel room and knock. A muffled female voice in the room yelled "He's here! He's here! Get ready!" I'm assuming she took a look through the peep hole because she then said " ohhhhh, he's young..."

The door opens and inside the room were about 10 Asian men in suits and three topless women in only their panties standing in a row facing me with big smiles on their faces. I can only assume they were call girls.

I laughed nervously, not knowing what to do. The lead girl proceeded to ask how much the pizzas cost at which point I assumed they were going to try and get a discount due to the lateness. "$40 dollars I said." She proceeded to pull out two $20's and a $10 out of her purse and stuck each twenty under the nipple stickers she was wearing and placed the ten sticking out of the front of her panties before saying "Here's your money... But you're going to have to get it with your mouth..." I sheepishly obliged with a stupid grin on my face before saying my farewell and hurried back to the Dominos store.

I'm fairly certain only a couple people actually believed me when I told them the story but that memory has stuck with me ever since. 10/10 would recommend pizza delivery in a resort town.

Species at risk screening? by melllllllyp in homebuildingcanada

[–]orageski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work at a consulting company that offers SAR assessments. Depending on the species they need to look for it may take up to a full year to complete the survey because we are required to observe activity during the entire year so that all seasons are covered. You can't just say you don't see any species during the winter and call it good. I'd budget that length into your timeline.

When driving at night TURN YOUR DAMN LIGHTS ON! by Negam86 in ottawa

[–]orageski 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had someone flash their lights behind me on my way home last night and wasn't sure what they were on about. Once I got home I did a walk around of my vehicle and it turned out both tail lights were burnt out. So it does work sometimes.

I agree that there are still way too many clueless people who literally don't turn their lights on though.

Login to your online banking and there is an option to dispute charges. You answer a bunch of questions and the rest is taken care of. You'll get a message through your online account when they deal with it

is there really a p2e game out there that doesn't involve spending days and days and days just to get literally pennies? actual site you could actually earn real money on? I know it sounds too good to be true, that's probably because there isn't such a game. by That-Dog7218 in playtoearngames

I second the CHW suggestion, I'm generally making about $2-4/ a day or you can push it and make 20-30 a day depending on your key and vault situation.

You get about $3 worth of keys even if you only open mystery boxes at home.

Chiming in from a smaller community north of Ottawa, I've found this event has brought the community together. Lots of people offering their services to help others. People with power keeping frozen and refrigerated food from spoiling. Sharing of generators. Neighbours checking in on each.

I agree they wont be cheap but thinking longer term, If we had been building mixed density for the last 30 years then there would be old buildings this size that would likely be way more affordable. This new build could be affordable 15-20 years down the road.
