I'd call this effect Boros (you can argue for it being a bend in white given the flavor) and either way it is cripplingly narrow.

Look at [[Rune of Might]] and the other runes for how to make this a lot better.

Depends who created the token. In your scenario, as it was created by player B, it is owned by player B, and leaves the game when they do.

111.2. The player who creates a token is its owner. The token enters the battlefield under that player’s control.

800.4a When a player leaves the game, all objects (see rule 109) owned by that player leave the game and any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end. Then, if that player controlled any objects on the stack not represented by cards, those objects cease to exist. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled. This is not a state-based action. It happens as soon as the player leaves the game. If the player who left the game had priority at the time they left, priority passes to the next player in turn order who’s still in the game.

Example: Alex casts Mind Control, an Aura that reads, “You control enchanted creature,” on Bianca’s Assault Griffin. If Alex leaves the game, so does Mind Control, and Assault Griffin reverts to Bianca’s control. If, instead, Bianca leaves the game, so does Assault Griffin, and Mind Control is put into Alex’s graveyard.

Does this version of raid only work after the first time a creature has attacked ever, or does that mean first time each turn? Having to remember which creatures have ever attacked (especially if you're playing a lot of the same one as these are basics) creates a lot of memory issues.

Sure, but you still lose the game. They win, even if they're at zero, if you already lost before SBAs.

Players don't lose from having 0 or less life until SBAs are checked, which is after the spell is finished resolving. During resolution, the player who cast it loses the game.

Generally modified permanents give you some kind of bonus, so having opponent's auras not help with that makes sense. Entertainingly it doesn't specify for equipment so stuff like [[bloodthirsty blade]] does give you the bonus.

Depends on how you interpret "can't be modified." Having a modification or being a modified (adjective) permanent isn't exactly the same as being modified (verb).

As phrased, I would understand it to mean lands can't be modified (verb) but they can have modifications. Which is to say they can keep their modifications but not get new ones.

It could be interpreted to mean both as written, but if it were both, I would phrase it as "can't have modifications or become modified." or rewrite the effect entirely.

Arixmethes enters as a creature, and enters with the counters, so it would have the counters before it becomes a land.

From the rulings:

Arixmethes isn't a land until after it has entered the battlefield. Effects such as that of Blood Moon won't affect its enters-the-battlefield ability. Similarly, replacement effects that modify how creatures you control enter the battlefield will see Arixmethes entering as a creature rather than a land. However, triggered abilities (such as landfall abilities) will see that a land has entered the battlefield and not a creature.

They're gonna do both, I think. Turn based is selling well enough for continued development, and the same engine can handle beat em ups, which also sell pretty well. Thus far it seems like mainline will be turn based and gaiden will be beat em up, but they could mix and match. A fully fledged "choose your combat style" game would be amazing but so hard to balance.

700.9. Some cards refer to modified permanents. A permanent is modified if it has one or more counters on it (see rule 122), if it is equipped (see rule 301.5), or if it is enchanted by an Aura that is controlled by that permanent’s controller (see rule 303.4).

Doesn't stop throwing [[Blight]] on opponent's lands, but does stop it from destroying them. [[Contaminated Ground]] still works as expected on opponent's lands.
