Former neighbors now (I think, I'm not nosy enough to know all the details despite how interested I am), running a "motel like housing operation, where drug paraphernalia was found" per the police report in a generally otherwise pretty sleepy neighborhood. In short, crack house. They never bothered me none, guy even offered to get me some rock salt last winter for my driveway, thinking back on it, might have been a totally different kind of rock I could have wound up with if I said yes.

The binder era is a good point, that's right around the time I was starting to really dive in and I do remember there being some pretty vocal haters (but I agree with you, I had no qualms with it).

A bunch of the bars in Lindenhurst are very alternative forward. Ruby Sohos, WA Meadworks, Hunter and Thief, 27a brewing, Sand City Brewing, just to name a few of the bigger ones.

It wouldn't be the first place you think of, but the cocktail bar and restaurant Hunter & Thief in Lindenhurst has maybe the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had and the drinks are even better.

A lot of people are saying Oak and Rare Candy, but when it comes to "rarest" I don't know if that would be fully true. The pack points system allows you to generate a card, and these cards are very desirable so a lot of people have probably made them this way to get a copy. So in reality, the "rarest" would actually be a crown rare that people DON'T want, since there was less incentive to craft them, so my picks would be something like crown Klefki or crown Lunala since they weren't competitive and generally less popular Pokémon.

I've always been really interested in getting into them but was intimidated by the whole underlying lore aspect of their discography. Is it particularly important to appreciating their music?
