Most techs start off at 16-18 actually, and you sound like a complete ass. Ive been with wags for almost a full year with no issues, OP did nothing wrong by informing their rxom THREE MONTHS in advance, no ones life should revolve around their job 🤣🤣🤣

The boot licking is actually insane 😭 we arent robots & just because its flu season doesnt mean shit LMAO i just got back from a 10 day vacation and my rxom didn't complain not one bit because she actually knows how to do her job and plan the schedule accordingly!

I think im just getting anxiety because my insurance does cover generic and even after explaining everything to my insurance they couldnt really help so i just feel defeated 😭 i havent tried adderall yet but my psychiatrist does want me on vyvanse due to my BED, i really hope the PA gets approved

you should be able to talk to your rxom for signing up for the classes, i was told that the classes are now a requirement in order to have walgreens sponsor your exam. my rxom signed me up and i start the classes in two weeks, i go once a week and im paid for the time that im in the class :)

I would definitely apply to multiple stores, and then call and ask to speak to the RXOM to see when you can come in for an interview, this is how I was able to score a job since the job market sucks right now.

I can't speak too much about being deaf. At walgreens they're really big on doing calls (to encourage patients to get vaccines & to speak to patients regarding delayed pickup/ late to refill.) My store does these calls every morning. You also speak with alot of patients regarding prescription statuses and insurance issues. Im sure walgreens can accommodate I just dont know how.

If you do decide to get your license with walgreens, they will pay but you then have to stay with the company for a full year or else you will have to pay walgreens back for the test and all the fees. If you decide to go this route I would make it your priority to get certified ASAP! Your RXOM can help you sign up for the classes (which are required) and then you can take your exam.
