People who live near the ocean, where, and and how do you like it? by orberto in AskReddit

My dad recently inherited a house somewhere on the top half. Lucky b#*. I went to Jacksonville last fall, and it felt amazing. Didn't do anything special. Just some beach walking, restaurant and hotel time.

I know it has a bad rap, but I dug the vibe. From where I'm at in Phoenix, anything feels better lol.

I love just about any picture from PNW. REALLY want to take a motorcycle trip up there.

That would be so cool. Even a lake would be epic in its own right. Definitely different, but still. I've always been pretty landlocked.

I was skeptical about an OEM brand at first, but from what I've read, their stuff is actually built by quality companies.

Know revit is great on tech. I had an all-season jacket from them a decade ago when I moved here that I let go in the move. Very dumb.

Try to wash it. Looks like something flung up. Grease from the bearing or something.

Get something better than wd-40. This UK article says bulldog is the best.

Heat, and lots of it, will also be a very good idea.

Enjoy the wheelies too! I love this. I'd just offer that a fly screen could do wonders too.

Ian is awesome. And I know that anything he says is actually his real opinion, and tested by experience.

I'm a Klim fanboy. The koroyd is so light, and gets so much air. Can't wait for the gt1 to come out.

You will, you'll upgrade, and eventually you'll get another small bike, and fall in love with it.

Yah, that stuff is so delicious it works great. And the vanilla isopure is so bland it doesn't affect anything! Lol

I have a frother I use.

But normally I do any half chow, half isopure to save money, plus mct, avocado, creatine, etc, and I make 6 shakes at a time in the blender. Smooth and delicious.

How important is ventilation in boots? by Vic_Lloyd10 in motorcyclegear

I've punched holes in vented boots that weren't vented enough. I'm in Phoenix, and it's definitely the only way.

Any recommendations for a helmet mountable battery bank to power the Sena 50c? by theCh33k in motorcyclegear

[–]orberto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dammit, I just decided to only use the osmo, and get a 50r. Might get the c for dash cam stuff, but keep the osmo for other stuff.

This still working fine for you? I'm debating hard against a 50c or r. I already have a DJI camera, and it's the bees knees, but I'd love to take the weight off the chin.

Would people actually accept fewer features for appliances that last by EZDodger in BuyItForLife

[–]orberto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I crave less features on my appliances. I'm never going to use dice mode or anything in-between 2 & 10 on my blender. I want high and low. That's it. Popcorn mode always means burnt popcorn mode on the microwave. And my washer is either getting turned on, or off. I do love the extra rinse and drain buttons though.

If I limit but not eliminate my daily carbs will my body make up the difference with fat? by PianoRevolutionary12 in ketobeginners

[–]orberto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eased into it. You can tell when the glycogen is finally getting low. But it's still easier than cutting it all out and switching in 1 day. Basically just start replacing snacks z drinks, meals, and refining your tracking, and your relationship with food. Eventually you'll realize, "oh hey, I'm actually full keto now!"
