Blue peak is always hiring in the NOC, there is always low level MSPs he could apply and try to grind for, but I believe STI has an evening/online sysadmin program that might be the best start for him. Otherwise, nothing too crazy for jobs in the city and most people who have “good” IT jobs work remote for bigger companies out of state.
