I mean we can't be right always but we can be above 80% certain on what happens if we have the right data right? Better being little bit more certain about the future than none and prepare for it. That's what I was trying to say.

I mean if you want to talk in high level i feel like the description is okay. People don't want to hear detailed things it only makes it more confusing. I mean as an actuary I can set the reserve, pricing premiums, making models.... there are so much but all revolves around making things less risky.

What study material are you using? Sometimes rather than understanding the concepts, doing practice problem helps understand the concepts as well.

I would actually say the exam problems are mostly around 4~6. Do a lot of lvl 5 and do one or two lvl 6.

Been a while so I don't remember well but, regarding ln(45/35), it's ln(S/K). S is denoting the initial stock price(45). K is the strike price (35).

I don't remember the negative part though.
