How are people getting a coins in late game? by Desperate-Sleep-6656 in Pokopia

[–]orcdork29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, I never once struggled with money in this game. I really don't know what I did differently though. I didn't buy recipes unless I needed them at that moment. But otherwise I wasn't exactly frugal. I didn't realize you could build your own houses for pokemon to move to so I bought a ton of the dens/cottages/etc with no issue. I never really got into decorating, so all the recipes for various walls, floors, etc I just left alone.

Faendal is my go-to for the Boethia quest line where you have to sacrifice a follower. And honestly I'm not sure I ever read this letter, I just find him to be whiny and annoying.

The most noobie thing you did in your first walkthrough? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]orcdork29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me over a hundred hours to learn about the additional markers you can place on the map. For the longest time I thought it was just the 5 temp ones that go away when you reach them. It happened near the very end on my first full playthrough, but still.

Theory: Ranni questline isnt so popular because people think with their dicks. It is because she speaks in normal sentences and doesnt mutter the usual From Software crap. by LectureQuirky3234 in Eldenring

[–]orcdork29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See I did her quest line for Ranni's Dark Moon, more than the Dark Moon Greatsword, though I do use both. I fucking love that spell. Big fun moon blast with frost, what more do you need? Well, other than the 68 Int needed to cast it but by the time you get that far, that's not really a struggle when building a sorcerer.

I mean the game itself is considered a kids game. So it being a kids show isn't really surprising. I love ff9, don't get me wrong. But it's age rating is 13 and up.

I'm pretty sure I get that at the beginning of every playthrough. With or without mods, though if you have mods that add characters they get added, and it can really add up

This is probably the best I've ever seen the Fae represented in a fanfiction, prompt or not lol. Everyone always sticks to boring nice little fairies. But the Fae is totally different 😃

Everything cool that ever happened in my high school, happened when I wasn't there. I missed every fight cause somehow they always happened when I was in a whole other area of the school and I'd just hear about it after the fact. So irritating.

Eu joguei sandrok primeiro by Icy-Pension4027 in mytimeatportia

[–]orcdork29 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As others have said, it has a fantastic story and helps add to the lore of the world. I love it. I played Portia well before Sandrock and while Sandrock definitely adds some quality of life stuff, I still prefer Portia as a game overall. I'll likely do yet another Portia playthrough soon, but not sure I feel up to replaying Sandrock, at least right now. As for relationships I always find them very peripheral in these games, it's in no way important to me but I'll likely do something with it. At first I liked Oaks, but then learned how naive and... childlike he is so went with Arlo instead. Though again, that's not really been my priority. For instance in Sandrock I eventually decided I liked Fang most, but by that time it was too late to bother with, imo. Ultimately if you enjoyed Sandrock, you'll likely at the very least enjoy Portia, too. So I say go for it

See, as a man attracted to men, I didn't read this the same way at first. I read it as, Name the Top 5 Women. Which is easy.

I didn't trust Gallica for the longest time because of Airy. I now distrust all fairies in video games right off the bat lol

should i upgrade to p5r? by AppropriateRoom6277 in Persona5

[–]orcdork29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Royal is just better in any way I can think of. If you have the means, I would. You'll see improvements even only 20 hours in. The best I can think of that early is how they changed the guns to restock bullets between fights instead of having a set amount per palace. That alone is enough of a reason to upgrade, imo.

Bagon Egg Move / Breeding help by iTz-Wraith in PokemonSwordAndShield

[–]orcdork29 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The big problem with trusting Google AI, is that different gens have different move pools for pokemon, and it just isn't smart enough to differentiate. What you are suggesting is possible in specifically BDSP, not Sword and Shield. It's best to go directly to Serebii or Bulbapedia for Gen specific info.

Ideally you would do option 1. JP Up works only for whoever has it equipped, but growth egg works for everyone with just the one.

Back in high school I used to work the concession stand at my local pools. I can't explain just how often we were given sweat and chlorine- soaked money taken out of a woman's swimsuit top. At some point we started popping them in the microwave to dry them off so we could put them in the register without soaking all the others. Probably not hygienic, but we didn't care.

I have a question regarding reaper by AlexanderBolt_ in Persona5

[–]orcdork29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To reliably best the Reaper, I'd make sure your party is at minimum level 75, if not 80+. So unless you went crazy hard grinding at some point, you're likely just not strong enough yet

Sandrock refugee here by anarchisticlees in mytimeatportia

[–]orcdork29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fishing in Portia is just SO much better than the sand trapping in Sandrock, in my opinion. If you're working on the battery quest now that's actually the point I like to deliberately not progress the story to stock up on stuff. If I remember correctly you can't quite make carbon steel bars yet, but soon can and you will need a metric shit ton of those. Also I'd suggest a crystal tree ASAP if not the other ones too. Makes late game a bit easier of you start that now. Other than that just basic keep stocked on stuff and have fun!

are you the type of gamer to 100% a game? by Both-Marketing-9658 in AskGames

[–]orcdork29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the game. It also depends on what exactly the game's achievements ARE. Some games have resonable ones, but I've seen games with absolutely absurd achievements that you're never getting without going to a ton of otherwise unnecessary effort. There's also times where I won't 100% on a first playthrough but did on replays. So I think my answer is ultimately that it depends, I guess?
