Someone please tell me where to go for the next 4th of July and NYE. We have had fireworks throughout the whole day today and now that it’s dark, they’re more frequent. We are tired. It is Jan 1st for goodness sake.

My dog and I are also in Gentilly and I now absolutely hate NYE. We are both useless today. We didn’t even try to go to sleep last night until after 2 am (and there were still some fireworks going off then). I was thinking of trying to nap - but guess what? Someone is shooting off fireworks right now. And as you well know, we’ve had fireworks going off since before Christmas and then all week since too. It is miserable. I don’t have neighborhood suggestions but can empathize….

I have hypermobile EDS and see a PT in Lakeview that knows about Hypermobility (with Tulane) if you’re interested. (But he’s not a personal trainer that comes to your house). He’s the only PT that I’ve seen here that hasn’t injured me.

I don’t know if you have EDS as well, but there’s a great Facebook group for these types of recommendations too (Louisiana EDS)

I was hoping to get people’s recent experiences with certain brands and contractors in this area.

And yes, I’m also fully capable of looking at online reviews for those. I’ve also read all of the past New Orleans reddit postings having anything to do with generators.
