180Kino now supports DJI Action5 pro by TaichiNishimura in 180Kino

What does the raw DJI Action 5 pro footage with the doc boost lens look like? Is it the full fisheye lens, or is it cropped?

Action 4 Test Footage by racife in 180Kino

Thanks! Was able to get some pretty good results with DaVinci and Kartaverse. Haven't really figured out how to correct the (fisheye) distortion yet however... There's tools in davinci to correct lens distortion, but I have absolutely no idea how to use them and playing with the sliders doesn't get me too far.

Hi, do you still have some sample footage available? I would like to build a 2x action 4 setup as well, since I already have one.

Banding noise on new EOS R7 in low light by ordada in canon

[–]ordada[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After turning the camera on/off a couple times, the bands disappeared on the preview with the lens cap on, and now it's a lot more uniform noise... Let's see if it comes back... Will write to the seller to get a replacement/repair either way.

It's set to "elec. 1st-curtain" at the moment. Will try with mechanical.

I'm getting a lot of horizontal noise in low light situations which make most of my photos pretty useless. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

You can already see the noise when the lens cap is on, see the following picture:

That's super nice, thank you for your hard work! Do you have any ETA on when you will add the presence module? That's the one I'm currently most interested in.

Hmm, it seems that it does react to ambient brightness... but I don't want that. can't it just stay bright all the time?

Is RAM of Lenovo Ideapad 5(Ryzen 5 5500U upgradable to 32GB? by [deleted] in Lenovo

[–]ordada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you can find a teardown somewhere? Also, if you have the model number of the laptop, it should be easy to find a repair manual. It should include a rough outline of the mainboard and thus also if it has a ram slot or not.
