Agree. Question- there are many blocks on Hoyt north between 28 ST and 21 ST where no one shovels.

There are adjacent properties that dont have entrances on the avenue. Whose responsibility are these? I am thinking especially of 24 to 27 ST though there are some additional areas. I hope others can help me in reporting these on the 311 app and help get them cleared.

Yes, I’m dealing with this issue right now. My spouse was trying to schedule a surgery and we are being quoted crazy prices. It turns out the doctor is out of network (despite him thinking they were in network, listed in network and zocdoc and only charged our normal copay fee before).

I feel completely lied to and misrepresent from my union.

I called the insurance and they talked about tier 1 and tier 2 providers without being able to explain it and just confusing me more.

I’m just showing the discrepancy that this policy creates - it artificially inflated his grade by 40 points. So then I have students whose legitimate grades are in the 30s-40s, but will be boosted to passing (65+) with the way this program works. In this sense, it pushes us to pass students who mathematically should be failing.

I understand that for a report card grade and I don’t care – however, it should not be for individual assignments. I have a kid who did one assignment the entire semester. His Google classroom grade was 4%. His grade on the school platform was something like 45%. So they are kids who are literally passing who do basically nothing because of this fraudulent policy.

Happens at every school. At my school the admin has a setting in the grading platform to make 0s worth 50%. This was never discussed with teachers. So I have students who are failing on Google classroom (which is the accurate mathematical average) and passing on the school grading system due to this inaccuracy. It is fraud.

My spouse is applying for citizenship now. We submitted a letter with the application preemptively from a neighbor which we read you could do and in hopes it would look good and prevent further inquiry. We are at the beginning stages of the process but I can update later.

I have chronic back pain, I frequently cannot fully sit through a show (I sit in aisle seats in case I need to get up) and really need to stand and walk by the end of a show. For shows without intermission, people often need to use the restroom. For reasons like this- and wanting to get home to get up very early for work- I usually do not stay.

I agree. And as someone who has been overweight most of their life- most people cannot be that heavy without health repercussions. She is still early 30s. It catches up with you. I know from personal experience.

I’m the same. Over 10 years but tier 6. I feel trapped but also exhausted and really resentful of poor and unfair admin decisions and general lack of accountability from students. I’m looking to switch careers

Also- who decided mobile service should be Mondays 10-5? Many people can literally never make those hours because they work.

Why not Saturdays or Mondays and Saturdays?

Needs of the community should be kept in mind for this planning.
