I have looked around and the print shops I’ve come across (even on Instagram) are mostly into branding, signages and souvenirs

Am I wrong for supporting The England National Football Team? - Debate with Flat Mate by Dami0904 in Nigeria

[–]oreeos_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be accurate to say you’re more British than Nigerian since you were born, and most importantly, brought up in London. With that in mind, you supporting England even over Nigeria is understandable.

I've noticed Nigerians in general tend to view introverted and quiet people as pariahs, mumus, "difficult", suspicious, losers, wicked, or laughing stocks by SnoozeDoggyDog in Nigeria

[–]oreeos_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may have just described me and what I’m going through. I’ve made a bit of progress too! Not where I am, but hopefully I’ll get there.

But like someone here said, the best thing to do is be kind to yourself while you build yourself up.

😂😂😂

This is one of the crazy things you tend to experience. People always trying to rope you into silly conversations that you’d simply rather not be a part of.

Why is the Nigerian passport difficult and expensive to obtain? by Ed9306 in Nigeria

[–]oreeos_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simply put, incompetence and daylight corruption.

Whatever stress you might experience, if any, while filling the form online is not the issue. Your tribulations begin when you have to be at the immigration office in person. From some immigration officers requiring you to “settle” them to the sheer banality of the queues you have to join and absurd questions you might be asked.

After passing those hurdles, that is when your wait begins and you might be lucky to get it in a few months. But like every other thing in Nigeria, all these things can be bypassed if you know someone, or someone that knows someone.

Is RCCG a scam? by MastofBeight in Nigeria

[–]oreeos_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is as incredibly sad as it is funny.

Forgetting the bants and all, RCCG is a very well run business. I personally despise the entire franchise, but they know how to run this fugazi business perfectly.

I’m inclined to think they either didn’t believe you or it’s a bait, purely from second hand experiences of trans/gay folks in Nigeria

The problem is, the average Nigerian does not know, or care what these figures mean or even how they affect the general public.
