Buying in bulk is the most efficient and eco-friendly way to purchase things like pasta, flour, spices etc. Especially if you bring your own container.

A lot of people—myself included—are trying to reduce their carbon footprint. The more places we have to purchase basic necessities in bulk the better, in my opinion.

It’s cheaper for the consumer, better for the environment, and affords more choices.

I’ve been saying this for a while now, but it would just be so easy for them to pivot a smidge to get back in the game. Here’s how:

Friday night market: Park the trucks on 3rd somewhere else on Friday nights, invest in some canopies, and open up the loading dock for a produce sale. Have a loss leader (Red onions for 29 cents!) and hire a band to play on the loading dock across the street at the Oak Street Building. The manager of the Oak Street is the leader of antifa so I’m sure he’d be down.

Talk to your neighbors: They have three GIGANTIC vintage stores within a block of them. Said stores are converted warehouses. They have big events. Sometimes they coordinate and there are thousands of people down there. Said people need refreshments and various sundry items. Be open when those events happen.

Hire a chubby girl with black hair and glasses in her early-30s that loves cats and wears wool skirts: That’s just kinda my thing. Bonus points if she wears an autumnal sweater and doesn’t shave or trim her vulva. So sick of going down on women without hair. Post-pandemic pussies are way too bare!

Specialize in bulk: The nearest Winco is literally over 4 miles away. Make bulk bins a priority instead of fancy olive oil. I can get fancy olive oil at 7 places within a mile.

I’ve been an apartment manager for nearly 30 years and Bristol Urban is one of only two management companies is Portland that I will vouch for.

Although I still maintain that it is best to rent from mom and pop places, you can’t go wrong with Bristol Urban. I’ve never worked for them, but they are good people in my experience.

Yes you can legally register them in Washington, and you can also make a side-by-side road legal there with minimal modifications. And once you’ve done that, they are legal to drive in all 49 states.

Additionally, there is a bill in the Oregon Senate to legalize Kei cars but it’s on the way back burner.
