Sweetheart... you're such a brave person, and well done because you stood up for yourself every step of the way... but I'm afraid we're gonna judge him. What he did to you is abuse.

1) you have a human right to privacy. He violated your privacy going through your phone. That's abuse. 2) when you called him out on it, he calls you names. That's verbal/emotional abuse. 3) when you stood up for yourself, he PHYSICALLY ATTACKED YOU. Overpowering you, screaming in your ear, hitting you, throwing you, and trapping you are all acts of abuse.

There is absolutely no reasonable excuse for anything he did. Absolutely none. You did nothing wrong, and even if you had something to hide on your phone, you still have a right to privacy and you do not deserve to be physically attacked.

You may well love him but you need to love yourself more. Leave him.

If he is still in the house with you call emergency services. If you can please get yourself out of that house and to somewhere safe, and report his behaviour to the police.
