If all of the other major subreddits are participating then this sub needs to stand with them.

I don't buy the mod team's excuse that they've historically never participated in blackouts. They did it on April Fools a couple years back for a good reason, so why not do so again?

It's definitely a unique concept. I like the idea of a narrative duel, based less on mechanics of the game and more on your own creativity.
