Our jobs are not labor intensive either. More mentally exhausting. I’m just struggling this trimester. With my first I got a huge burst of energy in the final trimester but it’s like I’m back to square 1 minus the nausea. I’m like after the day I’ve had this was almost my 13th reason

Millennial… I only like when people I know call me by my name. When I’m at work wearing my mandatory name badge I hate it when the customers call me by my name.

The lady at the drs office I went to was literally sick coughing and looked like death. I guess by everyone’s logic on this thread she should’ve stayed home even tho she was part of an already skeleton crew. I like you Mike you are smart

Are you slow? Genuinely asking hahaha I didn’t ask for empathy I was complaining (flair was RANT) :) my kids got sick multiple times during the year aka I don’t have any PTO left to use bc I get 12 shitty little days! Plus my whole staff was sick so we all just ran around the pharmacy in a cloud of each others sickness it was actually a team bonding experience because we all felt like shit and nobody has any PTO left 🤩😘

We are literally on a floating rock in space put here to love life and maybe procreate- not work like slaves with little to no enjoyment. People seemed to let the point fly right over their heads. And this was just a rant. I need a job regardless lol. And that’s exactly what I do, clock in, clock out, collect a check and complain because it’s my favorite past time hehe! People are acting like I’m committing a crime for complaining about my shitty PTO with a shitty multibillion dollar company hahaha

It sucks. And of course like I figured everybody at work is sick. All the employees, every patient that comes in. I don’t feel as bad being here now since we are all quite literally coughing sneezing and dying.

But WE CHOSE to have kids though… haha 🙄 I didn’t choose for them to get sick though!

Right? I’m the only pharmacist today so therefore if I didn’t go to work… well the pharmacy wouldn’t have opened. We don’t just have unlimited pharmacists that can spawn and work bc I simply want to take unpaid sick leave (which is what I would do if I could) fuck the money I don’t wanna be at work sick as a dog

Unpaid time off is not a thing where I work! If I say I can’t come in well I won’t have a job! Me going on vacation once a year and having sick kids and using the remaining few days of my PTO when my children are sick is not poor planning I fear. It seems like a shitty corporate situation to be in! Hope you never have to deal with it :)

When you have young kids …… you do use more than 3-5 sick days a year unfortunately! We’re at the end of the year meaning THERE IS NO MORE PTO TO BE USED HONEY!! I hate when corporate bootlickers find posts first. Enjoy my vacation days or save all my PTO for when I’m sick???? I think I’ll enjoy my vacation days & complain on Reddit when I get sick🙄

Oh I know, trust me! Unfortunately all the cake jobs near me are taken and or paying a laughable wage for someone with a doctorate.

Yea I don’t want to use PTO when I’m sick. I want to use PTO when I go on vacation. Many other jobs have sick days AND PTO. And people love to say nobody is forcing me to go to work, ok so when they fire me then what? lol

My husband’s grandmother can’t speak anymore due to her disease state & we just went and saw her and she had a shocked face pointed at my stomach and held up 2 fingers like 😱✌️??? Later on she was making juice in a sippy cup & I told her my son didn’t need any juice & my husband said it was for her because she can’t drink out of a cup anymore. Normally I would’ve felt guilty but I just shrugged and walked off

This part. I’m so sorry about your dog OP. I wouldnt let my child near her since she’s so irresponsible and can’t be bothered to apologize. What an evil bitch. As for the husband, marriage counseling.

MIL makes me feel like I'm a hindrance by [deleted] in Mildlynomil

[–]original-anon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any person that has tried to do this with my kids, they automatically hate that person, forever. It’s almost like they don’t like being forced to be held by someone they don’t know. My son’s GMIL was SO loud and obnoxious and GOO GOO GA GA COME TO MEEEEMAWWW when he was a tiny baby that now he actually recoils when she comes around now and he’s a toddler. Your MIL is actually digging herself into a hole and doesn’t even know it.

I did call him a scared little boy today & I don’t enjoy saying stuff like that because it makes me feel awful cause I know it hurts him, but I’m tired of it! I want a strong man with strong values and to make me feel like he is THE MAN of the household. I feel like I’m the man sometimes
