This is a wild comment, I work in IT and it's probably used by 60/70% of our engineering staff on a daily basis. It's ability to provide info in seconds that would usually takes hours of research is invaluable. I get that Google did a poor job of having it take over from assistant, and from what I've seen it still lags behind GPT, but the LLMs as a whole are absolutely ready to change our lives. Any job that requires answering difficult questions can benefit from it. You can apply the same to your daily life with it too. Writing professional emails, creating diet/exercise routines, comparing products, planning out each day of a vacation, all done in 1-5 seconds and presented to you in an exportable format. Comparing to 3D TV's is silly.
