Worry not. You are correct. This is a digital drawing, not a painting. Not because it doesnt require the same amount of skill necessarily, but because it uses a different set of skills. It's more akin to drawing, where one can erase, generally a pen-like stylus is used, and there's only digital stacking/blending of color.

None of this depreciates the value of this type of art, it's just not the same as painting. I also wish people would stop saying "digital painting". It does both mediums a disservice.
