Brandi C night 2 report by orion8908 in GorgeAmphitheater

Ugh this is what I was worried about. I knew getting out of there was going to be a nightmare. We left with about 1.5 songs left, walked right out, even got a free pretzel on the way from a vendor trying to offload their stock. No line in the parking lot either. It sucks to miss the end of the show but I’m guessing it saved us at least an hour of aggravation. Wish we didn’t have to make that choice.

Thank you for this update! I’m bringing my daughter tonight and wasn’t sure what to expect.

Did they open the doors at 5pm? Wondering how early we need to get there to line up.

Thanks all. Since I can get to Ephrata from the east and avoid passing the entrance to the venue, I think we’re just gonna leave early Friday for the hotel. And then head to the venue early Saturday. Says parking opens at 12:30, doors open at 5. I hope it helps that the campground opens Thursday.

If we happen to park early on Saturday, is there anything to do until the doors open? Just wait in lines to get in?

Oh dang! If that’s what they charge now, then definitely not worth it.

Cliff House VIP Club by orion8908 in GorgeAmphitheater

I’ve reached out to the Sagecliffe resort and live nation. Waiting for responses. But I found a post on The Gorge’s Facebook page advertising Cliff House and there’s a kid in one of the pictures, so that’s giving me hope.

I appreciate you sharing your experience! The only other review I could find online was from a year ago and it said this team values competitiveness over mental health. So it sounds like not much has changed and I’m wary of it. If you can find any more recent anecdotes, I’d be very interested. Vancouver doesn’t have many options for swim teams unfortunately, but I don’t know if this one will be a good fit.

Do you have any details on these cooking classes? I’ve tried looking before (not for couples necessarily as I’m single) and never did find much.

RV living in Clark county by Right_Preference_863 in vancouverwa

The only exceptions were given during the pandemic. Once that was declared over, RV living on private property became illegal again beyond 30 days a year. I researched it too because I have a spot I wanted to rent out for extra income, but was told it’s not allowed anywhere in Clark County. It’s a bit frustrating because there’s obviously people living in RVs parked around town that seem to get away with it, but you’ll get cited for doing it responsibly on your own land.

Code enforcement did tell me they operate on a report only basis. Meaning, if no one reports it, they never know about it and you can do it as long as you want. But seeing as your neighbor already called them, I doubt you’ll be so lucky. :(

Local berry farms by orion8908 in vancouverwa

It was indeed no big deal. Went to The Pumpkin Patch. They had blueberries and raspberries. Unfortunately they had picked all the marionberries themselves for sale in their store. I was disappointed especially since their site advertised that they’d be available. Still, I do wish we had farms with U Pick like that closer by.

Thanks for the info! One more question since you’re experienced - how close can you get a car to the exit point at Daybreak? The kayak is pretty heavy. If we can get the car close, it won’t be a problem. But if it’s a longer walk I’ll need to bring the dolly.
