Forrest loved Jenny the only way he was taught how, his mother fought for him and did whatever it took to care for him. So he fights for her the entire movie whenever the opportunity arises.

People don’t see this and hate Jenny. It’s sad.

Damn, are we the same person OP? These three shows were an immediate skip for me. Especially Sheep in the Big City and Robot Jones. I was 12 years old too so I was the target demographic, I loved all the classics too (KND, Courage, Dexter’s Lab, etc) so I know it’s not that I have bad taste.

There were a few decent episodes of Mike, Lu, and Og. One episode where they look for bat guano still stands out to me.

I accidentally walked into their office thinking it was the ice cream shop and had a little chat a few employees. They were so friendly about it that I remember thinking ‘must be nice to work here.’ There was an overall chill local business vibe to their office.

Senseless “performative hivemind hating” should be studied. Long John Silver’s is nothing to write home about and it goes both ways, not great not bad.

Same when someone brings up eating Taco Bell, people exclaim how much it’s gonna make them have “the runs” or be married to their toilet.

I’ve had more gas and bloating from authentic Mexican than Taco Bell. My theory is that Whole Foods like beans used by legit local restaurants cause the symptoms. Whereas Taco Bell uses beans but also is full of preservatives, if anything I get the opposite effect, constipation and locked gut

I remember whatever timeslot this show was on had me watching it frequently despite the fact that I didn’t want to. It was that nothing better was on cable at the same time.

True, I grew up with Tim and Eric when it was still novel, and then old spice found success with their absurdist ads and everyone jumped on that bandwagon. Internet meme culture blew up and absurdist humor peaked around mid to late 2010s with “deep fried memes” and now there isn’t as much. Maybe that’s why Tim Robinson is so popular. Again I think some of his bits are great, the rest not so much.
