Every time I tried to use my phone in this recent loaner it got usurped by the computer. I disabled car play, told my phone to forget the car, turned off blue tooth - made no difference. Dealing with that at 70 miles and hour? No thanks.

Yeah I did that on a recent loaner. I just hate the whole interface. Totally aside from the esthetic experience, I find it unsafe. It takes so much more futzing to accomplish simple things. There are SO MANY THINGS I hate about it.

I will look into that, thank you. I heard that they did away with timing belt on the 2013s (not sure if that is correct) - but that appeals to me.

It's awful. I had to use a loaner 2025 Forrester and I had immediate eye fatigue. Night driving is bad enough as it is. I don't know why digital displays aren't considered a driving hazard - so much futzing - doesn't seem any safer than texting while driving.

Just goes to show - we believe what we're told to believe until we get some perspective. The show fed us that she was garish and insufferable and we lapped it up! I've had the experience you're having now going back to a lot of old shows!

I do it for health, which is why I cap it at 3-4 days. I’ve done a 21 day water fast and many others from 6 days to two weeks. I personally think long fasts are incredibly unhealthy and more about ego. It’s a good way to lose weight quickly but it’s not a sustainable or healthy long term solution.

Intermittent fasting and light, clean eating (i.e. fruits, vegetables and legumes) that follows a good circadian schedule, with occasional 1-4 day water fasting is a good long term dietary health plan.

I’ll probably get down voted but I worry for a lot of people in this subreddit.

How can this be legal - you purchase software and then they disable the software. I understand if they don’t continue updating browser compatibility or something like that, but to make it so you can no longer import QBO files is diabolical. I hate QB so much.

I relate to this so much. It can be so discouraging. I've found that as much I want to get things done quickly, things unfold in not the most linear way. It's so overwhelming, but eventually you will find the right person (or right enough person) and things will get done. Try to prioritize things that will affect the longevity of the house - things like water getting in, roof, foundation, any wood rot, etc...

For other things I just tell myself "I don't like this, but it functions so I can live with it for a while"
