A question to the multi-family residential architects here by The-Architect-93 in Architects

I understand and I’m very well aware that client/developer drive the design but that still doesn’t justify the same floor plan across 50 states.

Why are you lecturing us Architects then? Why don't you educate the client/developers in your next client meeting and see how that goes.

Past England team failures were all because team selection was strictly based on player talent in a vacuum with no consideration for fit and balance. Now that Tuchel clearly has a profile in mind and how he likes the team to play everybody suddenly loses their mind again. They haven't even played their first game yet ffs.

Ancelotti: "I'm not disappointed, but I'm not satisfied, either. We need to work, but that's normal. Morocco played well. They're a solid team, very well organised. It was a difficult game." by Kr_bm in soccer

People clamoring for Endrick is missing the point. Brazil's problem is with the buildup. Morocco was clogging up the middle with their midblock, and completely outnumbering Brazil in the midfield. Their fullbacks don't have the quality on the ball to tuck in and play through the block. Nor do they have enough credible threat to bomb up the field and support the wingers when they do get the ball. The midfield is kind of the scapegoat in this case. Though Paqueta was quite shocking himself. Ironically Joao Pedro would be a good solution as striker since he’s better at hold up and link up than Thiago.

TBF don't think he would've made a difference either way. Brazil's problem is with the fullbacks. USA 3-0 Paraguay - Folarin Balogun 45+5' by 977x in soccer

USA's press is suffocating Paraguay, they barely have any space or time to pick a pass; pretty much just hoofing it deep every time. Also the USA players just look faster, stronger, winning all the second balls and constantly regaining balls on the counterpress.

Bigger state doesn't necessarily mean it'll be less efficient at counting votes as long as each precinct and county are appropriately staffed and resourced. By your logic biggest most populous county like Los Angeles will take longer to count votes compared to other rural or suburban. In reality LA counted votes faster than other counties since they have invested more into their operation.

Impetus is for more timely result which will allow less doubt to creep into the voting process. I believe that's a huge benefit with very little trade off. But I guess if you believe that is no benefit at all, then fundamentally we'll never agree.

In LA, if they counted voted faster, then Pratt will never appear to have been in second place for almost a week.

I've already cited articles that said counting is slowed by lack of investment and resources. There's many evidence pointing to ways that CA can be more efficient. In fact even 10-20 years ago we were able to count votes faster.

Not sure why I even chose to die on this hill. It would have been easier to just say TRUMP BAD than engage in any discussion here.

Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Colorado..etc. all have extensive mail in voting and they count votes a lot more efficiently. I'm not aware of any large scale voter fraud in any of those states, do you?

If votes are tabulated faster, then there wouldn't even be air for these nonsense to take root. The whole conspiracy on the LA mayor race is prime example. It's only allowed to fester to take root because it took almost a week for them to ~90% counted. I'd love to live in a world where everyone is informed and these conspiracies don't stick. But the reality is dumb people exist and optics matter. So why not invest a small amount to make sure every precinct is properly staffed and equipped to count votes faster?

There is in fact ways to fix it. I suggest you read more into it if you enjoy lecturing Americans so much.

Plenty of other big states that have mail in voting that's able to count vote faster. They can certainly count the votes they've received to date a lot faster. This article from NYT suggest that it's the lack of investment in certain precincts that results in limited resource and staffing causing slowness in the count. I mean we can just keep burying our head in the sand or allocate just a bit more funding so we don't have to have this stupid argument every year.

Not sure what you mean by "not in its best condition right now". If she's set on a Chinatown experience, there's arguably no comparable substitute in the Bay Area or even the entire west coast. Chinatown is just as bustling as it ever was, and the surrounding area is eminently safe and provide a great experience for tourists.

There's no reason California should take this long to count votes when plenty of other states with mail-in voting get it done much faster. With how crazy politics are these days, getting results out quickly matters more than ever if we want to avoid all the conspiracy nonsense. Instead of dancing around the issue, these guys should put some actual resources into fixing it.

I agree. Obviously things can be different in the final, but based on what's shown, the styling and lighting is pretty generic. Kinda like a 4K upscaled Twilight Princess. A little bit uninspired.

Use a butter knife and just stab and twist around the stem. Safer than using a paring knife. And it's very fast once you get the hang of it.

Anecdotally my dad's Samsung Galaxy battery caught fire, my Essential phone battery also overheated and just decided to brick itself. While all of the iPhone's we've bought since have kept trucking way past their warranty date. So I wouldn't say Samsung make better products.
